Tina: The Tina Turner Musical was a captivating performance that chronicled the life and career of Tina Turner, highlighting both her challenges and triumphs. Accompanied by an energetic musical score featuring popular hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” the production presented a compelling narrative of resilience and the emergence of a musical icon. We would like to express our gratitude to the Henry J Kaiser Center for the Arts for providing complimentary tickets, which made it possible for us to attend this spectacular show for the grand opening. The staff was exceptionally professional throughout the event.

Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts
Dear Kaiser Center team, Thank you for the tickets to see “TINA: The Tina Turner Musical”. I am genuinely grateful for your generosity, and I am glad I was able to experience the production in Oakland at the newly renovated Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts. The show delivered. The performances carried real power, and the energy in the room felt special. Hearing Tina’s greatest hits live, in a venue with the history and significance of the Kaiser Center, made the night even more meaningful. You created the conditions for a memorable experience, and I appreciate the care behind the entire presentation. I also want to share a personal note of thanks. I am a disabled veteran, and accessibility is never a small detail. When a venue runs smoothly and staff support the experience with clarity and respect, it changes the night. I felt welcomed and well accommodated, and that matters. Please extend my appreciation to your full team, from programming to front-of-house. You are bringing high-quality work to Oakland and helping keep this landmark active, relevant, and community-facing. With gratitude, Maury “Mack” McFadden

Charlotte Hornets
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to everyone within the Charlotte Hornets organization for their generous donation of game tickets for my family and fellow veterans. During our military tenure, we frequently missed significant events such as holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, and even the birth of our children, so it holds great sentimental value to spend quality time with our families at a Hornets game. Thank you again for your kindness.

We would like to thank the ASU Kerr for supporting veterans with the ticket donation. It was our first visit to the Kerr and we loved the intimacy of the space, the awesome acoustics and friendliness of the staff. We enjoyed learning the history behind the property and it warms the heart to know that a lady named Louise can be forever remembered for her contribution to music history. Thank you for keeping her spirit alive and sharing it with the community.

A small but intimate venue for a first production by Scottsdale Old Town Theatre Company. This was a good variety of music from more than a dozen musicals that became movies.
