Current Hero's Wishes
Hi, my name is Avag. My family and I have been separated for 9 months while I was deployed to Poland. As soon as I returned, we then had to PCS and leave all of our friends and familiarities. Both events have been extremely hard for my wife and children, 8 yo daughter and 3 yo son, as well as myself. We have been Chiefs fans since we were stationed in Kansas several years ago. We were only there briefly and were never able to get tickets. We are now stationed close enough to be able to drive to a game and would love to finally be able to attend one. I think this would be a great family event, as my daughter is a new football fan and my son loves any and all sports.

My name is Clay. I am currently deployed to the Middle East and would love to take my family to Disney World. My daughters Eleanor (10) and Penelope (8) are in love with all things Disney and it would be epic to surprise them with a trip to Disney World in Florida when I get back from deployment. They have been so proud of their dad during this deployment and want to treat them for helping their mom around the house and keeping her spirits high. I love my family and hope that I can give them something special for keeping me motivated and taken care of the home front while I’m gone. Thank you for your consideration and no matter what, thank you for taking care of Soldiers all around the world! You are awesome!

My Name is Jalen and I would love to take my family to the Texas vs Arkansas football game. Football is my favorite sport and my son is starting his first year of tackle football. I’m not sure if I’ll get to see him play as I’m due to come home within the next couple months. This would be his first pro or college game to go to and I know he would never forget this. I will be missing his birthday so this would be a gift to him.

Hi! My name is Noemi, I am a nurse in the Army. I am currently on a 9-month deployment in the Middle East. When I return I would like to take my family to Disney World for Christmas. They have been very strong and supportive while I have been away, and I would like to give them a family trip of a lifetime. We have always wanted to go to Disney during the holiday season, and I would really like to spend some quality family time in the happiest place on earth. My family would enjoy this trip after being away from each other for 9-months. If you are able to help with park tickets it would be extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

My name is Michelle. Roughly one month ago, I returned home to the states from a nine month overseas deployment. The length of time being away became slightly more stressful for me and our family once my eldest son decided to join the military as well, leaving his daughter (my grand-daughter) to rely solely on her mother and extended family members (when possible) to care for her. My grand-daughter is three years old and although I hope in due time she'll understand her father and I commitments, I'd like to make a wish to be able to take her on a Disney World Trip in order to spend some quality time with her and reestablish our bond. Her and I are close but it seems slightly different now as she would inquire as to where I was for so long, especially when she would go to my house prior to her dad shipping off. I'd really appreciate being granted this grand wish either as a late birthday gift to her [early October she'll be 4 yrs. old] or an early Christmas gift since we were not together last holiday season, thank you!

My name is Bradley. I’ve served in the Army for 17 years now. I’ve been stationed in Germany and deployed on combat rotations twice. Just got back from a 10 month deployment to Poland in Oct of 24. I’m married to an amazing wife named Courtney and we have four children together. My family and I have been dreaming of the day to go to Disney World. Unfortunately we haven’t had the time or money so it’s been delayed again and again.

I am currently on my second deployment. I am currently in Europe and have been here for about 6 months now. I’ll be returning home soon in a few months and I would like to surprise my husband to a Steeler’s game. The Steeler’s are his favorite team and I would love to share a moment with him when I get home. We could really use some time to reconnect and do something special with each other after so much time apart.

My Name is Brandon. I am Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. I have been serving for a total of 12 years in the US Navy and I just returned from and 8 month deployment with the USS Carney. I have 3 children ages 6, 4, and 1 with my wife of 13 years. The only thing my children asked for when I returned was to go to Disney World for their first time. This was a really hard deployment for my family seeing my command on the news everyday for the amount of combat we were in, being that this was the first deployment where my oldest has really known what was going on and really struggled in school with it. I want to also give my wife a nice vacation as she has sacrificed so much over the years because of my service and taking care of all of the children by herself while I was gone with no support. I am super proud of my family for staying so strong and I would like to surprise them with this visit. I am requesting a total of 4-four day tickets to Walt Disney World with park hopper, a memory maker pass for the trip, and genie+ pass in (Orlando) Florida for 2 adults and 2 children.

I like to thank Vet Tix and the people who donated though the Hero's Wish program. Especially The NY Yankees For the great seats I had for Myself and my family. They treated me special. This program shows Veterans that people do care about us. It made me feel good I also met a great friend at the game who helped make this dream come true thanks Joe. It will be a long time before I can forget this day I got to see my favorite player Derek Jeter play and the NY Yankees won what more can you ask for thank you Vet Tix.

To our generous donors - Henry, Marcie, Ulric in honor of Larry Conception, Brian, and Raul: Thank you so much for sending us to the Rose Bowl - the Granddaddy of Them All!! This was an incredible experience to cheer on our team the Utah Utes. My husband and I have been Utah football fans since we attended "the U" as undergrads. We spent many date nights attending home games. Utah Football remains a big part of our lives with our kids as we catch games on TV and attend the occasional game, though being stationed away from home makes that difficult. The Rose Bowl was likely one of the last games we will be able to go to due to our next set of orders and we are so grateful to be able to have those memories with our kids while they are still young. They had a blast, even in the rain! The parking was seamless and somehow there was no traffic in LA. The VIP tailgate passes gave us an opportunity to kick back, enjoy some good food and drinks while playing games with the kids and chatting it up with fellow fans. The seats at the game took our breath away - we had a perfect view of the field from around the 40 yard line, and of course in Utah territory where it was just like home. Having recently returned from deployment, family events become so much more important and meaningful. Reintegration can be challenging and experiences like these really bring our family together. Thank you again for your incredible donation for this once in a lifetime opportunity! We are forever grateful!!!

Nichelle says:
Dear VetTix and Gracious Donors, Thank you so much for granting my wish! It was exactly what the family and I needed to disconnect with the stressors of life and reconnect with each other. I never thought that I would ever be able to take my children to Disney World. Thanks to your generous contributions, I was able to do just that. My kids and I had an amazing time at the most magical place on earth and there's no better season to visit Disney World than right before Christmas. The experience was nothing like I could ever imagine, it was far more than I ever expected. The park was breathtaking, as it was decorated so beautifully. Going to the park allowed us to create memories that will last a life time. Growing up, my family was never able to afford taking me and my brothers to Disney World or Disneyland and I wanted to be able to do things for my children that my family was never able to do for me. I want to help give them the opportunity to grow, travel and experience things that were unattainable for me at my young age. All of which is part of the reason I joined the military, to have a better life than I did, to work hard to remove some of the barriers that made growing up with a single parent, incredibly challenging. You all made it possible for me take my family and as an added bonus, I was able to pay all costs to surprise my mother with the trip as well. My mother has always dreamed of going to Disney World and as mentioned before, she never had the means to make it possible. With careful coordination with her medical care providers, she was approved for the trip and was able to receive treatment just minutes from the park. The trip was not only a surprise for my mother, but for the kids as well. Upon returning from deployment, I spent months trying to conceal my excitement for the surprise of a lifetime. There are no words to truly express how thankful I am for all the donors that made this wish possible for me and my family. This incredible opportunity is one I'm sure we will never forget. Thank you so much for blessing me and my family with tickets to Disney World. I hope to be a blessing to others in the future. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! Nichelle

I wish I could share more pictures! Words can not express the impact you provided my family this summer. To be able to visit four Disney World Theme Parks was truly a dream come true. My daughter, who is autistic, actually talked to someone (Princess Ariel) other than my wife and I, for the first time since she was 2! This gift wasn't just an opportunity to spend time together, it provided an opportunity for growth. Thank you sponsors!
