Current Hero's Wishes
This is my fifth deployment, and while I’ve learned how to carry the weight of being away, my family continues to carry the heavier load at home. My wife holds everything together for our four daughters—school days, practices, rehearsals, homework, and the emotional reality of growing up with a parent far away. Distance, time zones, and the uncertainty of today’s world add to that strain, and every missed moment reminds us how much these seasons ask of military families. As our daughters grow older, time together has become something we have to protect intentionally. Their lives are fuller now, moving quickly toward independence. Our oldest is preparing to join the Air Force, and with a possible move later this year, change feels close and constant. These transitions have made us more aware of how quickly this chapter is passing. Upon my return from deployment, I hope to pause and reconnect as a family. A family trip to Disney World would give us uninterrupted time to be present with one another—to laugh, talk, and create memories that carry us into the next stage of our lives. This wouldn’t simply be a vacation, but a moment to reflect, reconnect, and honor the sacrifices my wife and daughters have made alongside my service. Thank you for supporting military families and helping make moments like this possible.

My family and I would love to go to Disney World. We have never attended the theme park and had always been a wish of ours. I recently just got back from the Middle East and would love to take my family on a vacation here. During these times I cannot afford to take my family to buy tickets, hotels, food, and transportation. If I can get any help I would greatly appreciate it to take my family before I PCS from Fort Hood.

Hello, My name is Ross. I am a Soldier stationed at Fort Riley and have recently returned from my second deployment in 15 years of service. I would like to request a wish to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game with my family of five. Throughout my deployments and time away from home, my family has made tremendous sacrifices and has been incredibly supportive. While I was deployed, they worked hard to keep everything running at home, and I am very grateful for their strength and resilience. Having the opportunity to attend a Chiefs game together would provide us with a special chance to reconnect, create lasting memories, and enjoy quality family time after multiple deployments and extended separations. It would mean a great deal to all of us and would be a memorable way to celebrate being back together. Thank you for your consideration and for everything you do to support service members and their families.

This October will be 15 years of marriage for my wife and I. We met while I was serving and have been watching Vikings games together ever since. On September 20, 2026 the Vikings will play the Chicago Bears for what may be the last time at Soldier field. My wife and I were hoping to make it to that game for our anniversary.

Thank you very much to those who donated to my Hero's Wish. A special thank you to Stage 3 Motor Sports INC and Veteran Tickets Foundation for sponsoring my family's vacation. I have served for twenty years and I am able to continue serving my country because of the support from my family. This was a great surprise for them. Thank you and may God bless you. -Manuel Cervantez & Family

From the bottom of my heart, and my families, I want to thank all the donors who made this trip possible. I never got to experience Disneyland until I was almost an adult, so the "magic" of the "Magic Kingdom" was lost on me. But watching my young kids, wide eyed, meet the characters, ride the attractions and stare up into a brilliant fireworks display really allowed me to see the park through their eyes. Magic is absolutely the perfect term to describe what they were experiencing. These are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you all so much for helping make this trip a reality! Thank you so much to Vet Tix and the generous donors for the tickets to Disney World! We had such a great time and made a lot of great memories as a family. This was our first time getting to go on any kind of trip with my boys, Olivia's stepsons, so it was all 5 of us and was awesome watching all 3 kids have a magical time together! None of us but Olivia had ever been to FL and probably never would have been able to if it hadn't been for this! Thanks so much again!

Saying “Thank You” doesn’t quite cover it. Words just aren’t enough to express the profound gratitude that my family has for you making this an amazing trip to celebrate our family being back together again. Thank you all for the birthday comments and posts today! On our first day of the trip, after our travel, my daughter and I both celebrated our birthday at Magic Kingdom and it was amazing. Sharing a birthday with my daughter will always be better than any celebration I could ask for. Last year the Army had me away and it was the first time since she was born that we were apart on this day. This year we made up for it. I can honestly say that I had a brief moment of emotion as I stood there with her on my shoulders watching the fireworks around the castle on our actual birthday, appreciating that we were back together for our day. THANK YOU!!

To our generous donors - Henry, Marcie, Ulric in honor of Larry Conception, Brian, and Raul: Thank you so much for sending us to the Rose Bowl - the Granddaddy of Them All!! This was an incredible experience to cheer on our team the Utah Utes. My husband and I have been Utah football fans since we attended "the U" as undergrads. We spent many date nights attending home games. Utah Football remains a big part of our lives with our kids as we catch games on TV and attend the occasional game, though being stationed away from home makes that difficult. The Rose Bowl was likely one of the last games we will be able to go to due to our next set of orders and we are so grateful to be able to have those memories with our kids while they are still young. They had a blast, even in the rain! The parking was seamless and somehow there was no traffic in LA. The VIP tailgate passes gave us an opportunity to kick back, enjoy some good food and drinks while playing games with the kids and chatting it up with fellow fans. The seats at the game took our breath away - we had a perfect view of the field from around the 40 yard line, and of course in Utah territory where it was just like home. Having recently returned from deployment, family events become so much more important and meaningful. Reintegration can be challenging and experiences like these really bring our family together. Thank you again for your incredible donation for this once in a lifetime opportunity! We are forever grateful!!!
