Current Hero's Wishes
I am a Military Widow. My husband Christopher was KIA in Iraq on Jan.8, 2004. It was right after Xmas & it’s never been the same. But this one will be even more complicated now that his brother won’t be with him. I want my son to be happy this Holiday Season. Me & my boys and I lost their dad in war, and it’s been tough ever since. My oldest son Sean has many disabilities & because of these, he will always have to live at home with me. He watches his brother move on & that’s been hard. This year will be 1st year that it will just be him, me & his youngest brother for Christmas. He doesn’t want to be home because his Dad is gone & his brother isn’t coming home. So we decided to go to Disney World for Christmas. I want my son to be able to have fun for Christmas & not be home depressed. Thank You.

Hello, My name is Joshua. I am currently serving in the Air National Guard. I have been in the military for 12 years, spending 4 Active Duty in the Marine Corps as an Infantry and 8 in the Air National Guard as a Firefighter. I have had three Deployments, two to Okinawa and one to Kuwait. I have a Wife and 3 Kids, ages 22,10 and 4. While I was deployed, our Son enlisted into the Air Force and left for basic in San Antonio before I could see him when I returned. I have not seen or talked to him in about a year. When he gets home, I would like to take a Family vacation, make up for some lost time that we all missed with the deployments and the time apart, and thank them for all the sacrifices they have made to help me with deployments and time away. I’m requesting five 4-day park hopper tickets to Disney World in Florida. We want to leave for the vacation on December 27. Any help would be tremendous. Thank you in advance for all your support.

My name is Destiny. I currently serve in the Army National Guard and am deployed to the Middle East. I will return home this summer and would love to take my family to Disney World for the first time. I am a family of 6. I have four children: my oldest twins, age 11, my youngest son, 4, and my youngest daughter, 3. My husband is a stay-at-home father who has sacrificed so much for our family. He is my true hero as a stay-at-home father; he paved the way in supporting and sacrificing so much for our family. I couldn’t have gotten through this deployment without him. It would be an honor to thank him for all he does for us and to see my children experience Disney World for the first time. We would be most grateful to receive Disney World Park Hopper passes after returning from deployment and spending the holidays together again in late December/early Jan.

I am currently deployed returning back to Tampa, Fl the month of November. I have served in the USAF for nearly 20 years and been away from my family for most the 2023 year with trainings and this seven month deployment. At the completion of this deployment, I will have missed 2 of my children’s birthday. I have three children, one step daughter and my husband. My three children have been through a lot without a biological parent and have been amazing. I was informed some news that is resulting in some big changes and before we transition to this next phase, I’d like to be mom for a bit and allow them to just relax & celebrate through making memories. My children are 17. 13, & 11. My birthday is in November and my other son’s birthday is in December. Due to their gender and ages, I would like to book reservations where we can take our time and visit the different parks without the commute of traveling from Tampa to Orlando every day and really decompress and reconnect. We spoke about celebrating our birthdays together when I returned. I’m also looking at retiring and starting a new chapter with my family.

I'm Clayton, and in the picture are my wife and my 1-year-old daughter (not pictured our three fur animals)! I am currently deployed, and we want a vacation to Walt Disney World upon my return! My daughter will be 2 soon, and she already loves everything Disney. My wife was classified as an essential medical employee, so we have had a long couple of years between COVID-19, pregnancy, and this deployment. We hope to finally wind down for a bit and enjoy some quality time together as partners and parents. We greatly appreciate every one of you taking the time to read this, and thank you so much for everything in advance!

Hello, my name is Estevan. I am a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 12 years, and we have three kids, ages 5, 7, and 11. My wife and kids are my world; they have sacrificed so much. I joined the Air Force in 2012 to support my family and give my son a life better than my wife and I had growing up. At the time, my oldest son was just 9 months old. I served on active duty for 7 years. During that time, I earned several awards, deployed for 7.5 months, became a Military Working Dog (MWD) handler, and then a MWD trainer. I have served an additional 4 years in the Air National Guard since then while serving my community as a Sheriff's Deputy and a member of the S.W.A.T. team. In the past 11 years, I have been diligent in taking on as many additional training opportunities as possible, attending several Schools out of town in order to sharpen my skills and allow me to serve my community and country well. Even while I've been home, my family has sacrificed countless hours for me, working additional hours to train my K-9, offering support to the K-9 teams I was in charge of training, improving my marksmanship skills, staying after work to help troops, and more. I am currently deployed. I will miss all my kids' birthdays this year, several holidays, and my oldest and youngest starting middle school and Kindergarten. Over the 11 years in the Air Force, I have missed too many birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and milestones, but my wife and kids have been troopers. They hold down the fort to support me and the mission, even at the expense of time together as a family. We have started saving to take our kids to Disney World (this would be a first for our entire family), and we will hopefully have enough by 2025. I would love to be able to surprise my kids with the opportunity to take them when I get home from my deployment instead. I respectfully ask for help in attaining 5-day Disney World hopper passes for my family of five. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very thankful for your time and consideration.

Hello, my name is Brian and I am currently serving in the MN Army National Guard and have served for the last 10 Years. I recently returned home from an overseas deployment where my unit was responsible for a completely new mission that had not been done before. This was my second deployment but my first one with my wife which made it harder. She struggled with some mental health issues while I was gone so I would like to be able to surprise her with a graduation trip to Disney World to show how proud I am of her for making it through this deployment. She has wanted to go to Disney World since we have been married but we have not had the money to be able to afford it. I would like 2 5-Day Park Hopper passes.

Hello, my name is Jeffrey, and I am currently deployed to the Middle East. I have a 3-year-old son who loves everything Disney and an almost 9-month-old daughter, born a month before I left, but is the happiest little girl in the world. Since this is my first deployment, the whole family has had some major life transitions and stresses simultaneously. We planned on taking the kids to Disney World for my son’s 4th birthday after I got home, but budgeting while gone and trying to plan a fun vacation for the family has been difficult. After hearing about your program, being accepted by the Hero’s Wish program would be a blessing. I appreciate what you’re doing for our service members and would love the opportunity to use your services to bring some happiness to my family. Thank you!

I'm Active Duty Army who returned from deployment in August. I've been in the Army for 14 years with 3 Deployments to various Countries around the world. I would love to be able to take my family on a trip to Disney World once we PCS and settle down. I've been married to my wife for 5 years and we have 2 kids. My son is 1 and my daughter is 3. My wife is a very compassionate/strong person that given up her career to raise our children at home. She has gone through a lot this past year with deployment and being away for training. (I can't imagine how tough it is raising 2 kids virtually by yourself) I would love to be able to take my family on a trip to Disney World to regain some of the time I've missed and build memories that will last forever. If you could help make our trip possible we would be forever grateful! Thank you!

My name is Ricardo. I am currently deployed to Jordan as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. I am married with 3 kids. My son plays hockey and loves to watch football, baseball, hockey, and wrestling. My youngest daughter likes to skate. I love to watch both of them on the ice. Being at the rink is my happy place. My son just had his 11 birthday. This is the first time I have been away from him and been unable to celebrate. I told him that we would do something fun when I get back. We love to attend sporting events together. I wish to take him to WrestleMania 2024 in Philadelphia. I have taken him to Smackdown before and he has always been so appreciative. He would totally flip out if I took him to WrestleMania. I would like to thank everyone who donates to this site. It allows people like me a chance to spent valuable time with those we care about the most and to escape the worlds problems for a brief moment.

Hero's Wish Feedback

Damien says:
A dream come true family vacation is the exact way I would describe our trip. Thank you Vet Tix and the Hero's Wish coordinators for all the work that goes into this amazing program and opportunity. As a service member who will hit 20 years of service this August I have nothing but gratitude for what the military has done for myself and the life my family and I are afforded. The time away from the family is truly the only hard part of serving and it was incredible to be gifted these lifelong memories. My kids, five and seven years old, had the time of their lives. Above all else, they were most excited to be at Disney World as a family. The memories will surely last a lifetime. My son and I have spent hours sword fighting (souvenirs he chose), my daughter and I made secret hand shakes while waiting for rides and my wife (who as a military spouse, the hardest job of all) was able to take off a few of her hats, unwind and relax while just being a mother. We enjoyed our time together so much and are forever grateful to have been given this experience. A special thank you to Madeline and Raymond, our angel donors, whose selflessly generous donations will never be forgotten. On behalf of my family, thank you!

Manuel says:
Thank you very much to those who donated to my Hero's Wish. A special thank you to Stage 3 Motor Sports INC and Veteran Tickets Foundation for sponsoring my family's vacation. I have served for twenty years and I am able to continue serving my country because of the support from my family. This was a great surprise for them. Thank you and may God bless you. -Manuel Cervantez & Family

MSG (RET) Roger Daniels says:
I would like to personally thank all of the great people who have donated to my Hero's Wish. It is because of people like you and VET TIX that keeps us knowing that we are not forgotten. This event was the first one I have been to since being severely injured and losing my men on 22 April 2011. I had one of the best times of my life. I would like for the special people who have donated and VET TIX to know that you have a special place in my heart. My spirit has been lifted, I realized that life doesn't have to be stuck in the house isolated. All of you were apart of this and hopefully it touches your hearts as much as it touched mine. Thank you and may GOD bless you all.

Nichelle says:
Dear VetTix and Gracious Donors, Thank you so much for granting my wish! It was exactly what the family and I needed to disconnect with the stressors of life and reconnect with each other. I never thought that I would ever be able to take my children to Disney World. Thanks to your generous contributions, I was able to do just that. My kids and I had an amazing time at the most magical place on earth and there's no better season to visit Disney World than right before Christmas. The experience was nothing like I could ever imagine, it was far more than I ever expected. The park was breathtaking, as it was decorated so beautifully. Going to the park allowed us to create memories that will last a life time. Growing up, my family was never able to afford taking me and my brothers to Disney World or Disneyland and I wanted to be able to do things for my children that my family was never able to do for me. I want to help give them the opportunity to grow, travel and experience things that were unattainable for me at my young age. All of which is part of the reason I joined the military, to have a better life than I did, to work hard to remove some of the barriers that made growing up with a single parent, incredibly challenging. You all made it possible for me take my family and as an added bonus, I was able to pay all costs to surprise my mother with the trip as well. My mother has always dreamed of going to Disney World and as mentioned before, she never had the means to make it possible. With careful coordination with her medical care providers, she was approved for the trip and was able to receive treatment just minutes from the park. The trip was not only a surprise for my mother, but for the kids as well. Upon returning from deployment, I spent months trying to conceal my excitement for the surprise of a lifetime. There are no words to truly express how thankful I am for all the donors that made this wish possible for me and my family. This incredible opportunity is one I'm sure we will never forget. Thank you so much for blessing me and my family with tickets to Disney World. I hope to be a blessing to others in the future. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! Nichelle

First I would like to say THANK YOU to the following individuals; Henry, Monica, Ralph, Sierra, Thomas, Martin, Elizabeth, Billy, Derrick, Ricky, Patricia, Jennifer, Simonne, David, and Hero's. My family and myself are very appreciative of your generosity in making my Hero's Wish come true. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the opportunity to spend family time at the Magical World of Disney! We enjoyed several first and captured so many memories from the Theme Parks. Thank you again.
