I have just returned from deployment as I was overseas for the past 10 months I learned how difficult it is to be without those you love, and also learned to lean on my soldiers. It was difficult 10 months being in the Middle East, I have gone through both emotional and physical challenges that have turned me into the strong person I am. I have grown, and changes a lot but music kept me going. Sharing music with the person I love the most who stuck by me is truly my biggest dream, I wish to experience the Eagles with the person that stuck by through this deployment. The tickets themselves alone are an expense that would be alleviated as I would cover for travel and stay since I am originally from Texas. Any help is appreciated, considering my transition as a whole has been difficult it is genuinely something that would help me financially as well as give a breather after being gone for so long

My name is James. I Marine veteran and severely wounded purple heart recipient. My youngest daughter was born during the pandemic and we would love to give her the magical memories of a Disney experience. I am requesting tickets for my family of 5 for Walt Disney World in order to create lifelong memories for our family. During my deployment in Iraq I experienced loss of lives too soon. I have tried to make it a priority to make memories in my everyday life with my wife and three daughters as often as I can, because tomorrow is never promised.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Marie (14 years married) and together we have two children, Elodie (7 years old) and Gabriel (3 years old). I've been in the military for 14 years, a majority of the time being in MARSOC as a Marine Special Ops Operator. For my 5th and most recent deployment in April of 2023 I was Force Mobilized to Iraq with NATO. Due to sourcing issues for a replacement, I was extended three times to make a six months turn into a one year deployment overseas! Over the year, I’ve missed birthdays and holidays alike, especially when the kids were hoping for me to be “home by their birthdays!” As I look to come home and reconnect with my family after one year apart, I’m wishing to take my family to Disney World. Having time together would be a blessing and opportunity to help make up for all the time lost while I was in Iraq. My kids and wife have been so strong thinking I would be home soon and to be disappointed to find the deployment was extended 3 times for a total of a year. I would love to be able to surprise the kids with this. Thank you so much for your consideration and hopeful support. Hello, my name is Robert Velazquez. I'm an Army Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 where I sustained my injuries from an IED. After coming home, I joined the Texas National Guard while going to school, however, eventually decided to leave the military behind me. I served for 6 years combined. As many veterans do, I faced several challenges, both mentally and physically. But I met my now wife, Rocio, who was and has been my number one support system through it all. We have been together for 11 years, married for eight, and have two beautiful children, Penelope (5) and Lucas (2). They are my purpose and mean everything to me. I know I can't give them everything they deserve, but I try to give them the best version of myself every single day. This year, my wife and I had multiple conversations about taking our kids to Disneyland, but the chances of us going got slimmer by the day. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we won't be able to go. I'm not one to ask for help, just ask my wife. However, I am now turning to VETTIX and the Hero's Wish Program in hopes that my wish to surprise my family with (3) 2-Day Tickets to Disneyland & California Adventure Park can be granted. Hello! My name is Maksym, I'm a SFC of the US army and I'm currently deployed to the Middle East. This year me and my wife should be celebrating our 10 years of marriage and even though I will be away I would love to take her along with my 2 daughters Mia and Melissa to the Disney World in Orlando once I return form the deployment in Dec 2024. Mia would be so happy to visit a Harry Potter attractions there and Melissa is all about princesses. Hi, I'm Jeremy. I'm a psychologist in the Air Force and currently at Al Dhafra Air Base. Out here, I'm responsible for the psychological health of around 2000 Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines. I'm also fortunate to lead a team of expeditionary medics, who respond at all hours to medical emergencies. It's both a privilege and meaningful work. Even so, my family could use me at home, and when I finally get there, I'd like to make the reunion special. Your help will make it possible. It was nearly my worst fear. A month after deploying, my home flooded, and my family was displaced. I was and am unable to do much to support them, while the four of them live in a small hotel room awaiting the repairs to be done ...and me to come home. Right now, my children wouldn't even have books or teddy bears if I hadn't been able to send them after they were moved out of the house. I want to do something to surprise them -- something we couldn't do without *your* help. I'd like to get these kids to Disneyland.

I want to thank the Veteran Tickets Foundation and all of my 11 donors for making one of dad's biggest dreams come true! I made this wish without my dad's knowledge and my family and I surprised him with the tickets. He was so surprised and I have never seen him so excited! We had the best Christmas Eve we could have ever imagined and made memories that we will cherish forever. My dad was even given an autographed ball from one of the Chiefs players who heard about his wish! Because of all of you, my dad was able to get the best send off he could before deploying to Afghanistan. He says that he's already planning our next trip to KC for when he comes home! To our generous donors - Henry, Marcie, Ulric in honor of Larry Conception, Brian, and Raul: Thank you so much for sending us to the Rose Bowl - the Granddaddy of Them All!! This was an incredible experience to cheer on our team the Utah Utes. My husband and I have been Utah football fans since we attended "the U" as undergrads. We spent many date nights attending home games. Utah Football remains a big part of our lives with our kids as we catch games on TV and attend the occasional game, though being stationed away from home makes that difficult. The Rose Bowl was likely one of the last games we will be able to go to due to our next set of orders and we are so grateful to be able to have those memories with our kids while they are still young. They had a blast, even in the rain! The parking was seamless and somehow there was no traffic in LA. The VIP tailgate passes gave us an opportunity to kick back, enjoy some good food and drinks while playing games with the kids and chatting it up with fellow fans. The seats at the game took our breath away - we had a perfect view of the field from around the 40 yard line, and of course in Utah territory where it was just like home. Having recently returned from deployment, family events become so much more important and meaningful. Reintegration can be challenging and experiences like these really bring our family together. Thank you again for your incredible donation for this once in a lifetime opportunity! We are forever grateful!!!
