Why do our Donors Love Us?
Vet Tix enriches Veterans' lives, but we are also a benefit to donors. Since Veteran Tickets Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit foundation, individual ticket holders and businesses can receive tax deductions for their donations which they would not receive by donating directly to bases or military families.
The Vet Tix system is transparent. We are independently GAAP audited and have been at 96.5% to program or above each year. Venues, artist, teams get to know that their tickets are used by our Military and our Veterans. Our verification system ensures that only qualified people get access to tickets and discounts. We provide easy methods to donate shipped, will-call, print at home, or mobile delivery, with complete tracking along the process.

Karl says:
In a world of musical tributes, few artists possess the gravitas and technical prowess to approach the monumental legacy of John Coltrane. Yet, at a recent performance, the duo of trumpeter Kenyon Harold and drummer Nate Smith did just that, delivering a tribute that was less a mimicry and more a living, breathing conversation with the master's spirit. The atmosphere was charged from the moment the first note rang out. Harold’s trumpet, a voice both brassy and ethereal, didn’t attempt to replicate Coltrane's tenor saxophone. Instead, he channeled the philosophical and emotional core of Coltrane's playing. The blistering, cascading arpeggios of "Giant Steps" were reimagined with a lyrical clarity, each note a deliberate step in a new harmonic journey. There was a raw vulnerability to his performance on slower pieces, echoing the spiritual introspection of "A Love Supreme" with a mournful, yet hopeful, tone. Nate Smith, a force of nature on the drums, was the perfect rhythmic foil. He didn’t merely keep time; he sculpted it. His dynamic range was astounding, moving from a subtle, whispering brushwork that felt like a heartbeat to an explosive, polyrhythmic fury that pushed Harold to new heights. The interplay between the two was a masterclass in musical dialogue. Harold would pose a melodic question, and Smith would respond with a percussive answer, creating a seamless and electrifying call-and-response that held the audience in rapt attention. The true genius of the evening lay in the duo’s ability to honor the tradition while forging their own path. They deconstructed Coltrane’s compositions, finding new spaces for improvisation and fresh perspectives on familiar themes. This was not a nostalgic trip; it was a testament to the enduring influence of Coltrane's music as a living art form. Harold and Smith didn’t just play the notes; they conveyed the profound passion and spiritual yearning that defined Coltrane’s work. The performance was a powerful reminder that true tribute is not just about imitation, but about innovation born from deep respect. Thank you ArtPower at UC San Diego, VetTix.org and the Epstein staff for a wonderful night of music.

I would like to express my appreciation to the donor of the NASCAR Truck Series tickets. It was a very enjoyable experience. As a veteran, I cannot extend my thanks enough to VETTIX and it's generous donors for the experience that I felt while watching the Truck Race. It was a perfect day and the sites and sounds of the race are something that I will remember for a long time. Again, my extreme thanks to the donor for this experience.
