North Carolina Courage
Many thanks to the North Carolina Courage for generously donating a ticket to tonight’s game. I’ve been to see the Courage play before, but I’ve never been dressed in a suit and bowtie. That’s what happens when you run out of the house to get to work and you forget the clothes to change into for the game. It is a beautiful night for soccer. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The Triangle is extraordinarily fortunate to have this team in Cary. It is such a fun and wholesome family, friendly experience. The fact that they are ranked number six in the standings and are poised to make the playoffs this year speaks volumes as to the grit and determination that these players have shown all season. I’m proud to call the Courage my team. Thank you again for the very generous donation. I’m excited to be here. Let’s go Courage!!

A very heartfelt thank you! The Air Force is moving me from Arnold AFB, TN, to Wright Patterson AFB, OH, this weekend. So this is my last time getting to enjoy the Opry for quite awhile. I’ve definitely enjoyed and appreciated all the shows I’ve been able to catch through Vet Tix the last few years!

San Diego Padres
Dear Vet Tix and San Diego Padres Organization, I am writing this note to express my deepest gratitude for the tickets provided for the San Diego Padres game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 25th. Receiving these tickets meant far more to me than simply attending a baseball game. As a veteran, navigating the challenges of daily life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I often find myself falling into the pattern of isolating at home. It is easy to withdraw, but opportunities like this provide a vital reason to step out, reconnect with the community, and experience the energy of a live event. Being at the ballpark, surrounded by the roar of the crowd and the excitement of the game, was a genuinely transformative experience for my mental health. It provided a much-needed break from the weight of day-to-day struggles and allowed me to feel like a part of something larger and more positive. The atmosphere at Petco Park is always electric, and being there in person served as a powerful reminder of how important it is to engage with the world outside my own four walls. Please know that I make it a point to support the organization whenever I attend—buying food, enjoying a drink, and picking up some new gear—because I truly appreciate the hospitality and the welcoming environment you create for us. Thank you, Vet Tix, for the incredible work you do in bridging the gap between donors and veterans, and thank you, San Diego Padres, for your continued support of those who have served. Your generosity has a tangible, meaningful impact on our well-being, and I am sincerely grateful for the memories I was able to make. With sincere thanks and appreciation, Melissa

What a great throwback pair of concerts under one venue! Live Nation, my wife and I wish to thank you for the donation of tickets for this venue! As a veteran, I recognize the time, cost, and effort from Live Nation to support their troops in their own way. It is very much appreciated by the other vets, too, including the ones I met at the venue last night. And, thank you Vettix for making this process easy!

Arizona Broadway Theatre
A wonderful evening of great music, dance and preformance. The story of a young gay girl who wants to bring her girlfriend to the Prom that meets with overwhelming prejudice. What follows is unusual support, narcissism, interference, deception and misplaced guidance. The eventual approach to the issue is devised by the young girls own making to create a whole new outcome. The overall performance was an excellent study of human behavior on many levels that was a joy to experience. Thank you to the Arizona Broadway Theater for a fantastic evening.

Dear San Diego Padres Organization, I am writing this note to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude for the incredible experience of attending the August 24, 2026, game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the tickets, which provided me with far more than just an afternoon of baseball—they provided a genuine sense of connection and renewal. Getting out of the house can sometimes be a significant challenge for me, and I cannot overstate how important moments like this are for my mental health. Being surrounded by the energy of Petco Park, hearing the roar of the crowd, and feeling the shared excitement of the fan base helped me break through the walls of isolation I often feel. That afternoon was a rare and precious opportunity to breathe, enjoy the sunshine, and simply be present in the world. For those few hours, everything felt lighter, and I felt like part of something vibrant and meaningful. I also wanted to extend a special thank you for the Jackson Merrill "robbery" bobblehead! It is a fantastic keepsake that commemorates such an exciting highlight of the season. It now sits proudly on my shelf, serving as a reminder of the joy that the team brings to my life. Please know that I am a dedicated fan who is fully committed to supporting the Padres in every way I can. Whether it’s enjoying the delicious ballpark food and drinks, picking up new gear at the team store to represent the colors, or participating in the 50/50 raffle, I find great happiness in contributing to the community and atmosphere that you have built. I believe in this team and the culture of the organization, and I am grateful for the dedication you show to the fans. Thank you once again for your generosity and for creating a space where people like me can find respite, excitement, and community. You have a fan for life, and I look forward to cheering you on for many seasons to come. With deepest appreciation, Melissa
