Dear Vet Tix and Los Angeles Angels, Thank you so much for the tickets to the June 1st game against the Rockies. I drove up from San Diego for the game because I’m a big Angels fan, and being able to be there in person means a lot to me. I always try to give back and show my support by purchasing team merchandise, food, and drinks at the stadium. It feels good to know I can support the team and the organization that made this experience possible. Opportunities like this are especially meaningful because I spend a lot of time at home and can feel pretty isolated. Getting out to the ballpark, being around other fans, and enjoying the game is really good for my mental health. It lifts my spirits and reminds me that I’m part of a bigger community. I’m Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you so much to the Colorado Symphony for generously donating a ticket to allow me to attend today’s symphony chorus performance. Believe it or not, I was on a plane in Raleigh, North Carolina this morning, and had just enough time to take the train in from the airport, drop my bags at my hotel and walk to the Performance Arts Center. This is such a beautiful facility and it is an honor to be here to experience today’s performance. Shout out to all of the employees from will call, entrance security, ticket scanners, concessions and theseat ushers. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. I am in town for a week and I have a feeling that this performance will be one of my highlights. Thank you again for helping me create a core memory for this veteran. I’m so impressed! Brava!!!
