Thank you, Vet Tix, Live Nation, The Van Buren, Holiday Hangover Party with Yachtzilla, Flashpants, Basketball Jones, DJ Bueller, the Police and Security, promoters and coordinators, techs and stage hands, ticket personnel and ushers, cooks and food servers, bar tenders, your great staffs, and anyone I missed, for a fantastic evening. It was my wife's and my third and our friends' second visit to The Van Buren. That place is the bomb! I love the set up and ambiance. We had General Audience tickets, as the venue was set up for a dance party, and it certainly jumped with people wearing their sailor caps! Fortunately, we were able to snag seats. Check-in was very smooth. Kudos! We ordered delicious food and beverages at the snack bar. I found this description online for the evening's show" "The Van Buren Yachtzilla 2026 is a "Holiday Hangover Party" featuring the yacht rock band Yachtzilla, 80s cover band Flashpants, Basketball Jones, and DJ Bueller, happening at The Van Buren venue in Phoenix, AZ, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, starting at 8:00 PM. It's a nostalgic event with soft rock hits, promising dancing and singing, with tickets available through Live Nation and other ticketing sites." (AI Overview) We absolutely love yacht rock. It is relaxing, and it goes so well with any atmosphere, whether sailing the seven seas on a vast ship, lounging in the sun on a nice, quiet beach, or chilling at a friendly backyard BBQ. For those unfamiliar with yacht rock, here is a good description: "Yacht rock is a smooth, soft rock genre from the late 1970s and early 1980s, characterized by high-quality production, jazzy R&B, soul influences, and breezy melodies, evoking a sophisticated lifestyle often associated with sailing. The term was coined in 2005 by a web series that humorously documented the era's music, featuring artists like The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, and Michael McDonald. It's known for polished instrumentation, clean vocals, and a blend of pop, funk, and smooth jazz, popularizing hits enjoyed on the radio and at upscale parties." (AI Overview) DJ Bueler turned the vinyl in the background before the show began. Basketball Jones hit the stage dressed in disco drab. They kicked off the night with heart-pumpin', bass- thumpin', foot-stompin' disco music that heat up the joint. They were followed by high-energy, zany Flashpants who donned red and white basketball uniforms. Their antics were hilarious, and risque at times, but their music was solid, and they rocked the house! Lastly, Yachtzilla graced the stage and audience wearing white Navy Captain uniforms, later blue shirts with white anchors. They blew the crowd away with their smooth grooves, high octane gyrations, musicianship, and great song selection. No offense, but they were middle-aged men, and they they killed it! Way to go, guys! What a spectacular show! It is so worth experiencing! The singing, music, graphics, light displays, and craziness, etc., were amazing! If you get the opportunity, take it! You'll enjoy the fun walk down Memory Lane! I must say, it certainly was not what I expected. It was a whole lot more! Not counting the stage and instrument changes, the concert lasted about three and a half hours. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Live Nation, The Van Buren, Holiday Hangover Party with Yachtzilla, Flashpants, Basketball Jones, DJ Bueller, the Police and Security, promoters and coordinators, techs and stage hands, ticket personnel and ushers, cooks and food servers, bar tenders, your stupendous teams, and anyone I missed, for an amazing show! We, active duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, family members, and friends, are grateful for all you do for us, our communities, and this blessed nation. You truly are life savers! Sincerely, Chuck

Huge thanks to Live Nation and Vet Tix for hosting us for an awesome night of live music! In the End absolutely crushed it — what a great Linkin Park tribute band and a seriously fun show. I also want to shout out both these incredible organizations for their continued support of the military and veteran community. It was extra special even meeting a fellow veteran who served in some of the same duty stations as me and swapping stories in between bands. Thanks again for a great night!

Thank you to Messina Touring Group and VetTix for this opportunity! The setlist was a great mix of their classic hits and newer songs, and every performance felt genuine and engaging. Zac’s connection with the audience made the entire venue feel warm and welcoming, not just like a concert but like a shared experience. It was our first time attending an event at the Sphere which made the night even more special. We wouldn’t have been able to experience without this generosity. Thank you.

Thanks to the Haugh Performing Arts Center for the ticket donation to Step Right Up! A Ridiculous Trunkful of True Tales and Fake Magic. The show had plenty of laughs and I’m still scratching my head from a magic trick involving a bowling ball. Quite an entertaining show for sure. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t appreciate a good Magic show. Thanks again, Haugh Performing Arts Center.

Thank you VetTix for providing low cost tickets so my family can go to the hockey game. With 4 kids and all the expenses that come along, it is hard to committ to family fun outside the house. Your organization makes this so much more possible and let's my kids get a well rounded and eventful childhood. I tell every vet I know about VetTix and fully support your mission. Thanks again, Erich

Kansas City Comets - MASL
Thank you to the Kansas City Comets - MASL for donating me tickets to an exciting blowout win over the Tacoma Stars! My friend had never been to an arena soccer match. He really likes how fast paced, high scoring, & exciting it is! He didn't expect to enjoy the game as much as he did, so he's very impressed by this style of soccer. I look forward to inviting him to more Comets matches!

Thank you Live Nation for tickets to see two great tribute bands and about 2.5 hours of live music that brought me back to the ‘70s and ‘80s. Both bands performed the hit songs very well. And when I needed to change seats because of a belligerent loud drunk seated behind me, the kind lady in the ticket office graciously accommodated me.

Seeing the Zac Brown Band at the Sphere was absolutely unreal — the kind of experience that reminds you why live music is so powerful. The Sphere is already a next-level venue, but when you combine that incredible technology with Zac Brown Band’s musicianship, storytelling, and soul, it becomes something truly special. From the first song to the final encore, the band sounded phenomenal. The musicianship was flawless, the harmonies were rich, and every song — whether it was a high-energy anthem or a more emotional, stripped-down moment — landed perfectly. The visuals inside the Sphere didn’t distract from the music; they elevated it, wrapping each song in an atmosphere that made the whole experience feel cinematic and immersive. What really stood out is how tight and genuine the band is. You can feel the years of experience, the chemistry, and the love for what they do in every note they play. It felt both massive in scale and strangely personal at the same time — something only great artists and a great venue can pull off together. A huge thank-you to the Messina Touring Group for making this incredible night possible. This wasn’t just a concert — it was an experience, and one that I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Zac Brown Band at the Sphere is something special.

Gas South District
Greetings and sincere thanks to the GAS SOUTH DISTRICT, Duluth, GA. And thanks to Team VET-TIX and their staff, and all the unsung heroes who made this event affordable, memorable, possible, and positively enjoyable. The coveted tickets, donated by Gas South District, for the Magic of Motown concert, on Friday, January 16th, 2026, hosted by the Gas South Theater, created an awesome and entertaining evening for me and my family. Attending this event with our family was fun, albeit we still wanted more when the show ended. My entire family and I got the rare opportunity to hear and enjoy musical renditions of Motown's musical greats. The Magic of Motown concert wrapped and enthralled it’s audience in the familiar opening chords of so many musical anthems, and the familiar vibrato, baritones, and soulful voices of Motown – transporting the audience to a sultry time long pasted. I would be remiss if I did not exclaim how awesome and professional the Gas South District and Theater staffs are, in Duluth, Georgia. The theater’s staff professionalism and service were above reproach. A few positive examples and worthy mentions include the team that scanned our parking passes, the Ticket Box Office Staff who were well prepared when we retrieved our tickets. Finally, the ushers and bartenders in the theater were welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout. Thanks, once again, to the Gas South District, the Gas South Theater, Team Vet-Tix, and all of their staffs, and their donors/supporters for their efforts. Humble Regards, Rod A. P., US Army
