Thank you Barbara B. Manning Performing Arts Hall for inviting my wife and me to be your guests at the tribute to Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops. The music brought back many memories, but what was most interesting was the commentary by the Gulf Coast Symphony Conductor that gave us new insight into this institutional feature of our country.

What a fantastic show! My wife and I are so happy that we have the opportunity to attend, thanks to the generosity of the Opry Entertainment Group-Ryman-Grand Ole Opry, who provided the tickets for tonight’s show. We sincerely appreciate them donating the tickets to VetTix and for their support of the Veteran community. It’s not often that we have a chance to see a first class show with world famous performers, so this evening was really a special treat. What made it even more special is the fact that the show celebrated Survivors of breast cancer and the ongoing work being done by the Susan G Komen organization to find a cure for this devastating disease. Once again, thank you for your awesome generosity.

A great big thank you to the two great donors that allowed me to go to this game. This was our first professional soccer game to see live. I was particularly impressed with how much faster the players look live (vs on TV) and by how high the ball goes on some kicks. I was excited by the fact that the first goal we got to see live was by the home team but really wish it could have gone with a win instead of a draw.

During my 4 years of service I went to very few sports events. I watched on social media how many of my loved ones got to attend games while I was in the slumps. I was happy for them but always wished I could be in two places at once. Now that I have tranisitioned out of the Army, I miss my brothers and sisters and feel some guilt of leaving the Army. Attending this game and being able to see one of the greatest players of all times reminded me that there is so much to be thankful for outside of the Army. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Vet Tix for everything you do in supporting veterans across the country. Opportunities like this truly mean a lot, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Attending Tina: The Tina Turner Musical was an incredible experience. From start to finish, it was powerful, emotional, and unbelievably entertaining. The energy of the performance was something special—the cast brought so much passion and authenticity to the stage. The actress portraying Tina was absolutely phenomenal, capturing not only her voice but her spirit, strength, and resilience in a way that gave me chills more than once. The music, of course, was outstanding. Hearing those iconic songs performed live, with such talent and precision, made the whole experience even more memorable. The storytelling was just as impactful—it really gave a deeper appreciation for Tina Turner’s journey, her struggles, and her triumphs. It’s experiences like this that create lasting memories, and I’m truly grateful to Vet Tix for making it possible. Thank you again for your continued support of veterans and for providing moments like this that we can enjoy and carry with us.

Charlottesville Ballet
Thank you to the Charlottesville Ballet for the donated tickets to see America 250: Voices of Virginia Ballet. This was our first ballet together and I've not attended a ballet since seeing a version of the Nutcracker as a child. Upon arrival, I was able to park in front of the building and only had to walk about 500 feet to the front door. When we entered the facility we were greeted with smiles and a copy of the Program and directed to Will Call to receive our tickets. To my surprise there was a concession stand and we were able to take our snacks into the theatre. When we entered the theatre the Ushers led us to our seats; we had a great view of the stage! I enjoyed every aspect of the show with "Children's Peace March" being my favorite. Thanks again Charlottesville Ballet for this wonderful opportunity...

Great event. Honoring veterans and first responders with free entry and entertainment. BTO, Johnson Country Sheriff's Posse and Mike Ryan know how to put on a patriotic show. What a fantastic time watching bravery in motion, bull riding, and hanging out with the family. Whether close or far, worth the time. Thanks for the moments of peace. It goes a long way
