Past Hero's Wishes
Hello! My name is Nathan. I am an 11 year veteran on my way home from my second tour. I am writing this in hopes of you being able to help my family create new memories and make up for lost time in a trip to Disney World. Every service member knows that being a parent while deployed isn’t exactly easy. For me, hearing my two boys wonder where I am and ask when I am coming home is always so difficult, especially around their birthdays. I wasn’t able to make it home for the birth of my second child last deployment. This deployment I lost my grandfather this summer and wasn’t able to attend his funeral. This compounded a lot of stress on my family and I, but have made it thus far. My wife, Mary, is the rock in our marriage; a retired veteran after 22 years of dedicated service and a mother of two handsome boys, has worked tirelessly to get our kids to summer camp and to keep them happy and healthy while I’m deployed, as well as taking over my chores as well. For my Hero’s Wish, I am asking you to help me get our family 4 Park Hopper Passes to Walt Disney World. This isn’t just a wish for me, this wish is for my wife who held this family together and for my kids to have breakfast with their favorite Disney characters.

My name is Rosemary, an Army veteran and the widow of Army SSG Jeremy A. Brown. Jeremy was killed in action on July 3, 2005, while deployed in Mosul, Iraq. At the time, he had just begun our third consecutive deployment to Iraq since we were married. Our married life was defined by service to our country. While Jeremy was completing his first deployment, I arrived to start mine — passing each other in Kuwait by a single day. When I returned home, he was deployed again. We celebrated our marriage with a big family wedding during his two-week R&R, but we never had the chance to take a honeymoon or share a family vacation together. I have remained unmarried for the past 20 years, and have a son who is 19. He is a wonderful young man and a devoted WWE fan. My wish is to share with him a special experience we will both cherish — attending WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specifically, I am requesting two 2-day tickets so that we can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime event together. This would not only fulfill a dream for my son but also honor the life and sacrifices that have shaped our family’s journey.

Thank You Message from the Hero:
I would like to thank Vet Tix and everyone for your donation for my Hero's Wish. A thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are for everyone who thought of our family. I was able to take my son to WrestleMania 42 because of the tickets that were donated. I'm old school WWF, but I enjoyed myself. My son, he had an amazing time. Vet Tix is such an amazing community and I am very thankful to be part of this family.

My family and I had an incredible time at the Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars game on April 4th, 2026, here in Texas. It was an unforgettable experience, and we were truly grateful for the chance to be there. Thank you to Thomas, Billy, Kyle, Toni, Robert, Scott, James, David, Dale, Barbara, Adrian, Frankie, Lizeth, Mike, and Erin for your generosity that made this moment possible for my family. It meant more than just attending a game; it was a reminder that people out there truly care. Thank you for supporting veterans and creating memories that last.

I would like to get tickets for my daughter and I to go to the Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho, from 25 to 29 March 2026. We are big fans of live music and would love to get five-day passes to attend, especially if they are the zipline passes, so we can get into every event, no matter the crowd. I would like this wish granted because my daughter and I love to go to concerts together, but it is difficult to justify spending money on entertainment like this when we don't have much. Soon after returning home, we had flooding in the house causing extensive damage in three rooms and other areas such as closets and part of the garage. Insurance is covering a lot, but not everything. If that didn't take all of our extra funds, there has been multiple repairs needed on vehicles that have taken the rest. We are good at budgeting and tightening belts when needed, and we will recover from the financial strain, but expensive festival tickets are not in the budget right now.

Thank you to Vet Tix and all the wonderful donors that helped me take my daughter to the music festival. We had so much fun going to all the venues downtown and saw 37 bands play over the five days. It was the best festival we have ever been to, and we are extremely grateful for all that helped make this happen for us!

I am a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and returned April 2nd 2025 from a 6 month Deployment to Somalia. My wife and I have 4 kids, 3 of which are girls who participate in All Star Cheerleading, which means we are constantly on the go and rarely have time to get away as a couple. I have been a Broncos fan my whole life, and also attended Texas Tech University and follow the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. My wife loves the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes as well. We also live in Lubbock, TX where Texas Tech is located. Our anniversary is November 5th and neither of us have ever been to an NFL game or been able to truly celebrate our anniversary since getting married. I would love to be able to spend a weekend with my wife in Denver and attend the Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs game on November 16th 2025. My wife and I would be forever grateful for this opportunity to spend some alone time together while also enjoying something we both love, football.

My Family has been moved without stability every 2-3 years (like many military families), and I'd love to show them appreciation for their sacrifice by offering an experience we'd otherwise never get to do.

My name is Edward, and I am currently a Chief in the USCG. I am married to a fantastic lady who travels an hour to work daily as a high school teacher. I also have three children ages 15,14, and 11. My two older sons are actively involved in their school wrestling team. My daughter is my sweetheart and is just starting middle school! It’s such a difficult age, and I am thankful my wife is there to hold it all down while I am away to provide a strong female role model for her, but she is admittedly losing her mind with my teenage sons. I stay in contact with my family as much as I can via FaceTime calls and text messages, but I can’t wait to be back and see and hug them face to face. And provide a strong male influence back into teens' lives.

Hello, my name is Stephanie. I’m 29 years old and currently serving in the Army. Over the course of my career, I’ve had one overseas deployment that changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. During that deployment, my family endured unimaginable pain. We lost a loved one, and I received the devastating news that my daughter had been a victim of S/A at the hands of someone we trusted. Around the same time, my wife’s mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Being away from my family during such a difficult time was one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced. I couldn’t be there to support them when they needed me most, and that weighs heavy on my heart. All I want now is to give my little girl a moment of happiness, a chance to feel like a carefree child again. Taking her to the happiest place on earth is a small dream, but one I believe she deserves after everything she’s been through. While I know this won’t fix what has happened, I hope it can bring a smile to her face and create a precious memory for her to hold onto. If you’re able to support us in making this dream come true, my family and I would be forever grateful. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to giving her this special experience. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer.

I just want to give a huge thank you to Shannon, David, Jennifer, Carissa, and Hero’s Wish for the incredible gift of Disneyland tickets! This truly means the world to me and my family. Your generosity gave us the chance to make memories that we’ll cherish forever from the laughter, the rides, and all the magic in between. I’m so grateful for the kindness and support shown to veterans like me. You’ve made a dream come true, and I can’t thank you enough for reminding us what true compassion looks like.

My name is Jesse. I’m on my first deployment and hit a rough patch. Hopefully, Mickey Mouse can bring back the magic. It’s hard being away from family during a combat deployment, but God has got it in his hands. I’m married and have a little boy who will be turning 3 in October. I’m not sure I will make it in time for my birthday, but I hope to make it for his! It would be great to get away, decompress, and reengage with the family. I hope to be able to take him and his wife to Disney World and make magical memories together.
