Attending the 'Primetime with the Steelers' event in October with my son would be an unforgettable experience. Because I work second shift, we do not get to spend as much time together as I would like. He is entering his senior year of football and plays both offensive and defensive line, so this would be a meaningful way to celebrate our shared love of the game. I have been a lifelong Steelers fan and have always admired their hard-nosed defense. My son and I especially enjoy watching T.J. Watt. After serving as a combat engineer in Iraq in 2003 and 2004, this opportunity would give us valuable time together and a memory we could carry for years. I'd love to give him an amazing day!

Hello my name is Donavan. I went on deployment in Iraq and Kuwait. I have been away from my family for about 9 months. I just want to spend the time with my family for loss of time if possible. I am married to my wife Sierra. We got married while I was on deployment. We have 2 children, Penelope and Rowan. I am 27 years old and turn 28 on the 15th of October. My wife is also turning 28 on the 1st of October and would love if we could get our wish fulfilled. I'm apart of the 101st CAB. It was my first deployment in Iraq and Kuwait. I am located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

My Hero's Wish is to attend the Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers game at AT&T Stadium with my family. I recently returned home after spending nine months deployed overseas. During part of that deployment, I was forward deployed to a bare-base location where we endured repeated ballistic-missile attacks and defensive intercepts. After months of long hours, alarms, uncertainty, and being separated from home, returning to normal life has taken time. My family has supported me through 18 years of deployments, missed milestones, and unpredictable schedules. This wish is as much for them as it is for me: a chance to spend the day together at one of football's greatest rivalries and create a positive memory after a difficult deployment.

Military life means missing birthdays, ordinary weeknights, and the everyday moments that keep a family grounded. Through the long hours, thinking about my family is what carries me. We are a massive Ravens household, and following our team has always been a vital connection to home and normalcy for me. I made a promise to my family that we would celebrate our time together and make up for lost time by going to a Ravens game. It would mean the world to walk through the gates of M&T Bank Stadium together as a family and cheer on our team in person!

Dear VetTix and Gracious Donors, Thank you so much for granting my wish! It was exactly what the family and I needed to disconnect with the stressors of life and reconnect with each other. I never thought that I would ever be able to take my children to Disney World. Thanks to your generous contributions, I was able to do just that. My kids and I had an amazing time at the most magical place on earth and there's no better season to visit Disney World than right before Christmas. The experience was nothing like I could ever imagine, it was far more than I ever expected. The park was breathtaking, as it was decorated so beautifully. Going to the park allowed us to create memories that will last a life time. Growing up, my family was never able to afford taking me and my brothers to Disney World or Disneyland and I wanted to be able to do things for my children that my family was never able to do for me. I want to help give them the opportunity to grow, travel and experience things that were unattainable for me at my young age. All of which is part of the reason I joined the military, to have a better life than I did, to work hard to remove some of the barriers that made growing up with a single parent, incredibly challenging. You all made it possible for me take my family and as an added bonus, I was able to pay all costs to surprise my mother with the trip as well. My mother has always dreamed of going to Disney World and as mentioned before, she never had the means to make it possible. With careful coordination with her medical care providers, she was approved for the trip and was able to receive treatment just minutes from the park. The trip was not only a surprise for my mother, but for the kids as well. Upon returning from deployment, I spent months trying to conceal my excitement for the surprise of a lifetime. There are no words to truly express how thankful I am for all the donors that made this wish possible for me and my family. This incredible opportunity is one I'm sure we will never forget. Our family is so very grateful to all of the donors who made this trip happen. Thank you to Jennifer, Colby, Tim, Karen, and especially Leslie and Thomas! This kids has such a fun time. We had heavy rain on Tuesday, which meant that instead of being one of the busiest days of the year, the Magic Kingdom was nearly empty (it was a warm rain and we were prepared with head-to-toe gore tex and a stroller cover). Our oldest daughter cannot stop talking about meeting Ariel, her favorite princess. Our son is a die hard Star Wars fan, and loved meeting the characters and riding on Star Tours. My wife and I are so happy that we were able to spend a few days at Disney World with our kids. The weather was warm and it was good to get away from the cold winter.
