Attending the 'Primetime with the Steelers' event in October with my son would be an unforgettable experience. Because I work second shift, we do not get to spend as much time together as I would like. He is entering his senior year of football and plays both offensive and defensive line, so this would be a meaningful way to celebrate our shared love of the game. I have been a lifelong Steelers fan and have always admired their hard-nosed defense. My son and I especially enjoy watching T.J. Watt. After serving as a combat engineer in Iraq in 2003 and 2004, this opportunity would give us valuable time together and a memory we could carry for years. I'd love to give him an amazing day!

Hello my name is Donavan. I went on deployment in Iraq and Kuwait. I have been away from my family for about 9 months. I just want to spend the time with my family for loss of time if possible. I am married to my wife Sierra. We got married while I was on deployment. We have 2 children, Penelope and Rowan. I am 27 years old and turn 28 on the 15th of October. My wife is also turning 28 on the 1st of October and would love if we could get our wish fulfilled. I'm apart of the 101st CAB. It was my first deployment in Iraq and Kuwait. I am located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

My Hero's Wish is to attend the Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers game at AT&T Stadium with my family. I recently returned home after spending nine months deployed overseas. During part of that deployment, I was forward deployed to a bare-base location where we endured repeated ballistic-missile attacks and defensive intercepts. After months of long hours, alarms, uncertainty, and being separated from home, returning to normal life has taken time. My family has supported me through 18 years of deployments, missed milestones, and unpredictable schedules. This wish is as much for them as it is for me: a chance to spend the day together at one of football's greatest rivalries and create a positive memory after a difficult deployment.

Lifelong wish to attend a home Steelers game with my family. We have never been to a Steelers game. If I can get this wish granted it would be a miracle. Military life means missing birthdays, ordinary weeknights, and the everyday moments that keep a family grounded. Through the long hours, thinking about my family is what carries me. We are a massive Ravens household, and following our team has always been a vital connection to home and normalcy for me. I made a promise to my family that we would celebrate our time together and make up for lost time by going to a Ravens game. It would mean the world to walk through the gates of M&T Bank Stadium together as a family and cheer on our team in person!

To our Generous donors, Thank you so much for helping us in taking our family to Disney for a much needed vacation, and the ability to achieve a dream of ours in taking our children on a trip to Disney. Our family visited all of the parks, and also met some of our favorite Disney characters. We were able to attend a character breakfast where the kids were able to meet Eyeore, Piglett, Tigger, and Winnie the Pooh. They also met Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Russel from the movie “Up”. Their favorite rides were the Kilimanjaro Safari ride at Animal Kingdom, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios, and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom. We were also able to coordinate with my mother in law to watch the kids on two separate evenings, allowing for my wife and I to have a date night. We visited Magic Kingdom for dinner and Epcot, which is currently having their annual flower and garden festival. It was wonderful to be able to have some time as just husband and wife and focus on us outside of the normal craziness of life. Our family can not thank you enough for your generosity. Your gift allowed us to take a trip as a family where we could focus on each other, relax and have fun. All while creating memories we will remember forever. Thank you, SSG Casey Donovan

In 2004, I suffered a severe head injury from an accident that resulted from chronic fatigue doing the mission. I thought I was going to die, but after I survived, I gained a better appreciation for taking time for family and living in the present. Last summer VetTix generously supported my family with a trip to Disneyland after a one year deployment and enroute to an overseas assignment. After 6 deployments, my family was able to take a vacation that we will never forget! It was especially special for my 2 children that suffer from social disorders. I am a regular supporter to charities like this, but none has impressed me as much as VetTix.
