Current Hero's Wishes
My family and I would love to go to Disney World. We have never attended the theme park and had always been a wish of ours. I recently just got back from the Middle East and would love to take my family on a vacation here. During these times I cannot afford to take my family to buy tickets, hotels, food, and transportation. If I can get any help I would greatly appreciate it to take my family before I PCS from Fort Hood.

Hello, My name is Ross. I am a Soldier stationed at Fort Riley and have recently returned from my second deployment in 15 years of service. I would like to request a wish to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game with my family of five. Throughout my deployments and time away from home, my family has made tremendous sacrifices and has been incredibly supportive. While I was deployed, they worked hard to keep everything running at home, and I am very grateful for their strength and resilience. Having the opportunity to attend a Chiefs game together would provide us with a special chance to reconnect, create lasting memories, and enjoy quality family time after multiple deployments and extended separations. It would mean a great deal to all of us and would be a memorable way to celebrate being back together. Thank you for your consideration and for everything you do to support service members and their families.

Hello all, My wish is a simple one. I wish to attend a Buffalo Bills home game in their new stadium opening year. (2026). I've been attending Bills games my entire life and the old stadium is part of my core memories. I've missed the closing of the old stadium due to my deployment. What makes this a wish, is the price of the new stadium tickets are quite frankly absurd for Buffalo, a blue collar and veteran rich community. My wife is Canadian and we are in the midst of her immigration paperwork. We are currently living 2.5 hours apart from each other. Between supporting two households, financially any extra money I have, had to be prioritized for immigration and lawyers. There's no crazy request other than just that, some tickets to a game. Specifically, the home opener since the new stadium is only gonna open once! Go Bills.

This October will be 15 years of marriage for my wife and I. We met while I was serving and have been watching Vikings games together ever since. On September 20, 2026 the Vikings will play the Chicago Bears for what may be the last time at Soldier field. My wife and I were hoping to make it to that game for our anniversary.

Attending the 'Primetime with the Steelers' event in October with my son would be an unforgettable experience. Because I work second shift, we do not get to spend as much time together as I would like. He is entering his senior year of football and plays both offensive and defensive line, so this would be a meaningful way to celebrate our shared love of the game. I have been a lifelong Steelers fan and have always admired their hard-nosed defense. My son and I especially enjoy watching T.J. Watt. After serving as a combat engineer in Iraq in 2003 and 2004, this opportunity would give us valuable time together and a memory we could carry for years. I'd love to give him an amazing day!

When I was 15, I had the chance to see Limp Bizkit at their free Napster show in Dallas, but I could not secure transportation and had to miss it. Ever since, seeing Limp Bizkit perform live has been a dream of mine. I have been a fan since 1999, and their music has played a meaningful role in my life. I especially admire guitarist Wes Borland and his incredible costumes. With the band performing in Nashville this October, within driving distance of Birmingham, I would finally have the opportunity to fulfill that long-held dream.

Saying “Thank You” doesn’t quite cover it. Words just aren’t enough to express the profound gratitude that my family has for you making this an amazing trip to celebrate our family being back together again. Thank you all for the birthday comments and posts today! On our first day of the trip, after our travel, my daughter and I both celebrated our birthday at Magic Kingdom and it was amazing. Sharing a birthday with my daughter will always be better than any celebration I could ask for. Last year the Army had me away and it was the first time since she was born that we were apart on this day. This year we made up for it. I can honestly say that I had a brief moment of emotion as I stood there with her on my shoulders watching the fireworks around the castle on our actual birthday, appreciating that we were back together for our day. THANK YOU!!

To everyone at VetTix and to the incredibly generous donors, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it possible for me and my children to attend the England vs. Panama FIFA World Cup match. As a veteran, opportunities like this mean far more than just attending a sporting event. They create memories that will last a lifetime. Being able to share the excitement, atmosphere, and once-in-a-lifetime experience of a World Cup match with my kids is something we’ll never forget. Seeing their faces light up as we walked into the stadium and experienced the energy together is a gift that simply can’t be measured. Your generosity not only honors veterans but also gives our families opportunities to spend meaningful time together creating unforgettable moments. Those memories are priceless, and because of your kindness, my children and I will always have this incredible experience to look back on. Thank you to VetTix for everything you do for veterans and military families, and thank you to every donor whose generosity makes these experiences possible. Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of families like mine. With sincere gratitude, Ret. SSG Michael Sippel & Family!

My 2 children and I want to say a big thank you to Vet Tix, and to all of the donors who helped make our wish come true. We had an amazing time at Disney World. My daughter Carson got to meet almost all of the princesses, and my son loved riding all of the rides. Without all of your help we would have never been able to go. It was such an amazing experience and I loved seeing the huge smiles on my kids faces. I can not possibly thank all of you enough.

This was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. To be able to return home after a long ten months in Afghanistan and see the looks on their faces was amazing. We were able to share some much needed family time, as I am a single mom and they were in the care of my mother during my absence. I am at a loss for words to cover my gratitude to those who assisted in making this wish/dream come true. I truly do not know if we would have been able to have the same experience during this vacation if it were not for those donors who came to our aid/assistance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to my Hero Wish for a post-deployment trip to Disney World. Your support made it possible for me and my family to experience something truly special after a long and challenging time away. This trip wasn’t just a vacation—it was a much-needed chance to reconnect with my loved ones and create joyful memories that will stay with us forever. Watching my children light up with wonder at the Disney parades and share laughter with them on the rides helped me feel a sense of peace I hadn’t realized I was missing. For a few days, we were able to escape the stress, the separation, and the weight of service life, and just be a family again. None of that would have been possible without your selfless gift. Your support goes far beyond dollars—it brings healing, unity, and joy to military families like mine. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make this dream come true.
