We wish to express our gratitude to the Austin Symphony Orchestra for their generous donation of tickets to this concert. We enjoyed hearing new(to us) music composed by Alfven - reading the composers visionary text in the program helped us visualize the scene while listening. The Ravel played by Ingrid Fliter is special to us as our own daughter had played the concerto with her university orchestra 19 years ago. It was a a wonderful concert overall and a blessing to hear our region's premier orchestra.

I love going to the Long Center and hearing a symphony and really appreciate your donations. My wife and I get a chance to dress up and bring some friends along too. They too were really appreciative as it was their first time to a symphony. The concert was great. I expected to hear a little more of a Latin flavor, but still the music was outstanding. It is funny how the symphony takes your mind and creates this alternate space to be in for awhile. Thank you again. This could not happen without your kind hearts.
