A big "THANK YOU!" to V Star Entertainment Group and VetTix for our most recent opportunity to attend a great family event! I received 4 Free Tickets to Dinosaur Time Trek this past Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, and was able to use my Military Discount Code to save $5 off my fifth ticket so I could spend an enjoyable day with my 2 youngest granddaughters ("Alex"-11, & "Lucy"-2), my son "Corey," and my mother "Barbara!" My granddaughters really enjoyed the dinosaurs and the shark exhibit! Lucy was a little leary of the noises coming from the animated exhibits at first, but soon overcame any fears she may have had and then couldn't get enough of them! Both the girls enjoyed uncovering the different dinosaur skeletons with paint brushes and making rubbings of the dinos in the Destination Dig Site, while Alex also enjoyed mining for fossils (for an extra fee) - she was excited to get a good haul of shark's teeth (17) and lots of other fossils, too! Lucy enjoyed spending time in the Under 3 Play Zone, too! As a family, we all also enjoyed the hands-on activities in the Dino Lab, the Race Through Time Maze, and the shows "Dino Skeleton Encounter," "Think or Extinct: Family Game Show," and the "Dino Babies!" Another big "THANK YOU!" to "Dr. A. Pat Osaurus" & "Dr. Ptery Dactyl" for taking the time to talk with us, pose for pictures, and for making learning about dinosaurs fun for everyone! I came from a Military Family before joining the US Army during my Senior Year of High School. My father retired from the Air Force while I was in High School (also was a Disabled Vet who passed away in 2003). My younger brother and sister both served in the Navy. I met my husband when we were stationed in the same unit in Germany in the 80's. My step-daughter was Army Reserves before giving birth to my first 3 granddaughters and her husband is an E-8 currently on his 9th Deployment. My step-son was Army for 4 years and served 2 Deployments in Iraq. Moving around so often in our lives, family is really important! The opportunities that VetTix, and the Donors who work with them, provide are very much appreciated by my family! I know my sister, and my step-daughter, are also VetTix Members. Thank you, again! *P.S. - Please note that I am indeed wearing my VetTix Gear in our photo! I did not get the extra 4 coin credit with my last submission for my event on Feb 13th, but have been unable to figure out how to contact anyone about it! Thanks again!*
