La Jolla Playhouse
Thank you to the La Jolla Playhouse for providing us with tickets to see the Donna Summer musical, "Summer!" We were floored by the outstanding singing talent of the three "Donnas," Ariana DeBose, Storm Lever, and LaChanze. Each actor/singer portrayed a version of Donna Summer, from a young age growing up in Boston, to adulthood, when she became known as the 'Queen of Disco.' The musicians and additional cast were also wonderfully entertaining. The show was very impressive, and I'm sure it won't be long before it becomes a Broadway smash. Thanks also to the Veteran Tickets Foundation for continuing to partner with fine venues like the La Jolla Playhouse to give us Vets chances to unwind and take in such fun and entertaining shows - thank you!
