Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl and First Responder Bowl and Army West Point Athletics
I want to say a big thank you to the donors for letting my family and me experience such an awesome event. As a Veteran, I was honored to be a part of the annual Armed Forces Bowl and to share the experience with other Veterans. We arrived to the game about two hours prior so we could find parking. We anticipated that a lot of people would attend the game. Upon finding offsite parking, we then walked about 15 minutes to Amon G. Carter stadium. There were many festivities prior to the game, such as a concert, lots of tailgating, and a Veteran fair. We then stood in line to get in. After we found seats, we were thrilled when the parachutists glided in and the helicopters flew in overhead. There were also fireworks in concert with the Star Spangled Banner, which made the experience quite awesome. The game was thrilling, with each team breaking a tie after each possession. It was truly a great experience. My family and I are really appreciative and very thankful for the experience. Once again, thank you for donating the tickets to us.
