The Phoenix Symphony
Dear Phoenix Symphony, thank you for a wonderful morning performance of Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto with world acclaimed pianist Olga Kern and our fabulous symphony orchestra conducted by Paolo Bortolameolli in his premier performance as our symphony’s newly appointed Music Director Designate. I was anxious to attend this performance after hearing last year’s “Dvorak’s New World Symphony”, which was also directed by Paolo Bortolameolli as Phoenix Symphony’s guest director. Thank you, Olga Kern, for a stellar rendition of Rachmaninoff’s concerto and for treating us to a short delightful encore. The pre-concert chat and post-performance Q&A was informative and the complimentary coffee was appreciated. Thank you for your generous ticket donation for veterans, and thank you, Vet Tix, for distributing them.
