Dear Vet Tix and the AEG Team, I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the tickets you provided for the Journey concert on September 14 at the Pechanga Sports Arena in San Diego. Receiving this opportunity was an incredible gesture, and I wanted to take the time to share just how much this experience meant to me. For those of us who have served, finding moments of genuine peace and connection can sometimes be a challenge. The daily stresses of life, both past and present, often weigh heavily, and it is not always easy to step away and find a space where we can truly decompress. Music has a unique, powerful way of cutting through that noise. Being at the arena that night, hearing those iconic songs, and feeling the energy of the crowd allowed me to disconnect from my anxieties and reconnect with a sense of joy and normalcy. It was truly a mental health reset that I desperately needed. Events like this are more than just a concert; they are a bridge back to a sense of community and celebration that is so important for long-term well-being. Knowing that organizations like yours care enough to facilitate these experiences for veterans is deeply moving. It makes me feel seen, supported, and valued, and that feeling carries over into my life long after the final song has played. Please know that I am fully committed to supporting the efforts that make these programs possible. Because you provided the tickets, I was able to fully enjoy the evening and was happy to support the venue by purchasing food, drinks, and merchandise.
