Thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Nascar, Phoenix Raceway, the drivers, pit crews, announcers, flaggers, sponsors, promoters, coordinators, Police, Security, Rescue, EMS, ticketers, cooks, cashiers, etc., and your great staffs for an awesome afternoon. Phoenix Raceway is such an incredible track and stadium. The place was packed! It was my friend's and my third time attending. What was special for me is I got to bring my two sisters visiting from Massachusetts who had never been to a race ever. We had great seats in Section 121, Row 11, Seats 11-14. There is a fantastic food court plus various stations inside the stadium, with a wide variety of vittles and beverages, which is a huge plus, and you get a lot for the money. U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II jets assigned to Luke Air Force Base in Glendale performed the pre-race flyover. Next, came the National Anthem. Then, the oh, so familiar "Drivers, start your engines!" The race was very exciting and sooooo loud. Surprisingly, there were not many accidents. I think it had much to do with the nice weather. It was was a pleasant 75-80° with a light breeze, relatively clear, and the track was dry. Cameras were installed in the cabs of the vehicles so we could watch the drivers and see the race from their perspectives, which was neat. We had a memorable time! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Nascar, Phoenix Raceway, the drivers, pit crews, announcers, flaggers, sponsors, promoters, coordinators, Police, Security, Rescue, EMS, ticketers, cooks, cashiers, etc., and your stupendous teams for bringing such joy to people. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You are the best, and you rock!
