The Phoenix Symphony
I was delighted to see the collaboration between the local student composers and The Phoenix Symphony, and I was impressed by how professionally the students introduced their compositions. Thank you, Phoenix Symphony, for donating tickets to veterans for the wonderful performance and for your community outreach programs for students. I was glad to see so many youth in the audience. Also, thank you for hosting the International Dark Sky Discovery Center in the lobby with their pre-concert exhibits and informative talk, which helped bring mythical and scientific context to the subsequent mixed media orchestral performance of “The Legend of the Northern Lights”. Thank you, Vet Tix for distributing these great tickets.
