Thank you, Vet Tix, Highlands Church, Arizona Musicfest.org (2025-2026 Concert Series), Electric Light Orchestra Experience, Musicfest Pops Symphony, the Rangers (law enforcement), all volunteers, and your fantastic staffs for such a magnificent show and great afternoon! It was something like my thirteenth visit to Highlands Church; a couple of times for my friends. It is truly a lovely campus. The auditorium configuration is awesome. We had great seats in Section 5, Row Z, Seats 1-4, center-right facing the stage. There are no bad seats in the house. The venue has ample restrooms and a decent, reasonably-priced snack bar. I commend Highlands for hosting immense talent and some of the best performances we have ever seen and heard. The Arizona Musicfest/Highlands Church website describes the production as follows: "The Electric Light Orchestra Experience is a multimedia concert celebration of the music of Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Featuring Evil Woman, a 12-piece band complete with violins, viola, and cello coexisting with electric guitars, this production brings together Classic Rock and Pop—just as Jeff Lynne intended. The show includes unique video content for each song, showcasing the fusion of Beatlesque pop and classical arrangements performed by Evil Woman’s 12 musicians, including a live string section. The attention to detail in the vocal harmonies and string arrangements is astonishingly faithful to ELO’s original recordings. “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Livin’ Thing,” “Evil Woman,” and “Roll Over Beethoven” are just a few of the over 20 instantly recognizable, chart-topping hit songs featured in the performance." I have always loved ELO and their special blend of instruments, vocals, unique pop-orchestral musical sounds, and, of course, their light show. Jeff Lynne is an amazing musician and song writer. The original band broke up and regrouped several times. They are on their last tour. I figure I won't get to see them, but I got to enjoy the next best thing. What a must-see show! This band nailed it! I can't speak highly enough about the "Experience," because that is exactly what is was. It was so way beyond a mere concert. It was certainly a spot-on tribute to ELO, especially with the videos and special effects. The lead singer even looked and sounded like Lynne. The band had the sound down! Close your eyes, and you can't tell the difference. Including a short intermission, this incredibly entertaining concert lasted over two hours. Afterward, the band graciously met with fans in the lobby. What a tremendous hit! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Highlands Church, Arizona Musicfest.org (2025-2026 Concert Series), Electric Light Orchestra Experience, Musicfest Pops Symphony, the Rangers (law enforcement), all volunteers, and your terrific teams for putting on such a marvelous concert! We, veterans, active duty military personnel, first responders, family and friends truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock, life savers! Sincerely, Chuck
