Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, the Police, Security, partners, sponsors, coordinators, refs, coaches, managers, announcers, vendors, food and beverage servers, bartenders, ticketers, ushers, grounds keepers, volunteers, and your incredible staffs for a fun evening at the ballpark. Chase Field is an awesome stadium. We were assigned seats in Section 324, Row 38, Seats 9-12, but we were able to upgrade them to Section 115, Row 35, Seats 11-14, because my friend and I have mobility issues. There are no bad seats in the house, though. The wide variety of well-known food & beverage stations inside the park is a huge plus. That braut was scrumptious! It was the Diamondbacks' Home Opener, and it was a sellout! Baseball is back! Yay! A flyover by the 308th Fighter Squadron and fireworks kicked off the night. Obviously, the roof was open, and it was very pleasant inside the stadium. The amazing Randy Johnson was home! He was shown on the big screen. How cool is that? Attending a game is such a happy time for families. It's a festive, noisy, fun place to be! There are contests where fans can win prizes or money as well as crowd-involved activities, camera searches, various antics, and people and groups honored, such as Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros (Military), Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; (RJ won), Hot Dog Derby (Relish won), D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle (which soared to over $340,000!), Multiple Fan Cams, etc. The Diamondbacks struck first scoring two runs in the first. They rattled three more in the second. They hissed another three in the fifth. The D-backs bats were hot, and their pitching was tight. Then, the seventh inning happened. The Tigers were given a huge gift and loudly roared in six runs. It seemed as though the tide had shifted, but those Serpientes slithered in another run making it 9-6. That’s how the game ended. The Diamondbacks won their home opener, which was a beautiful thing! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, the Police, Security, partners, sponsors, coordinators, refs, coaches, managers, announcers, vendors, food and beverage servers, bartenders, ticketers, ushers, grounds keepers, volunteers, everyone I missed, and your fantastic teams for creating such a great experience. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, families, and friends truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You are life savers, and you rock! Sincerely, Chuck
