What an absolutely phenomenal show! From the very first note, the energy in the room was electric. Carly Harvey is extraordinarily talented, creative, and deeply authentic. Her voice carries both power and vulnerability, and the way she blends traditional blues with contemporary influences makes her artistry feel both rooted and refreshingly innovative. You can truly feel the storytelling in her music — every lyric carried meaning and purpose. The cultural depth of the performance was especially moving. The show beautifully honored the history of blues music while also highlighting its evolution and its deep connections to heritage, resilience, and transformation. The message behind her music — growth, empowerment, and honoring the crossroads that shape our journeys — resonated strongly with me. It wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience. The dancer performing with the hula hoop rings was absolutely amazing. The fluidity, precision, and artistry added another powerful visual layer to the performance. It complemented the music perfectly and brought an additional creative dimension that made the evening even more memorable. The musicianship was top-tier, the instrumentation was soulful and tight, and the atmosphere captured everything that makes blues music special — raw emotion, passion, connection, and community.
