Thank you, Vet Tix, Tucson Speedway, Tucson Speedway Season Opener, Nascar Regional, the drivers, pit crews, mechanics, announcers, flaggers, sponsors, promoters, coordinators, EMS responders, vendors, cooks, cashiers, ticketers, etc., and your great staffs for an awesome evening of races. The night kicked off with a solemn prayer, a nice instrumental version of O Canada, and the lovely singing of our National Anthem...in pure country fashion. The weather was a pleasant 82-72°! The bright moon smiled down upon us as the setting sun emblazed the dusky sky. Mountain ranges bravely crested the horizon as far as the eyes could see. We had great seats in the center of the stands right by the Start/Finish Lines. Tucson Speedway is such a unique track and hometown stadium. It was my friends' and my first time attending. It was a pleasure! The parking lot was a decent size, and there was no charge for parking, which was a huge plus. There were food stations outside the stadium with a wide variety of vittles and beverages. The Tucson Speedway website described the event as follows: "2026 SEASON OPENER Modifieds, Thunder Truck, Pro Stock,. Hobby Stock, JR Late Models, Legends/Bandos and CAN-AM Sprints- Plus Meet-N-Greet Gates 5:30 PM Races Start 6:30 PM" Needless to say, the races were very exciting and varied in terms of types and numbers of vehicles in each contest. Some of the drivers were women and children. They were very impressive! We witnessed a few accidents and mishaps, but no one was injured. Thank God! I think this visit started something for us, because it was one heck of a fun, enjoyable evening. We love exploring Tucson, and we have another reason to do just that! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Tucson Speedway, Tucson Speedway Season Opener, Nascar Regional, the drivers, pit crews, mechanics, announcers, flaggers, sponsors, promoters, coordinators, EMS responders, vendors, cooks, cashiers, ticketers, etc., and your stupendous teams for bringing such joy to people. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You are the best! Sincerely, Chuck
