Dear Vet Tix and Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Your generosity in donating tickets for Veterans to enjoy Echoes of Heritage was deeply appreciated by me. The symphony was expertly conducted by Artistic Director, Jose-Luis Novo, and featured pianist, Olga Kern, who performed Rachmaninoff’s popular Piano Concerto No. 2. She received a standing ovation for her brilliant playing! I also very much enjoyed William Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony which was played after the Intermission. The staff at the Music Center At Strathmore was courteous and very helpful. It was a wonderful afternoon of beautiful music! Best regards, Edgar Russell
