Golden State Ballet
To the incredible team at Vet Tix and Golden State ballet I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for the complimentary tickets to *SIX: From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons*. This experience meant so much more to me than just a night out at the theater. From the moment the show began, I was completely drawn in. The energy, the music, the humor, and the powerful storytelling all came together in such an inspiring way. Seeing the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone and transform centuries of heartbreak into a bold, euphoric celebration of 21st-century girl power was truly uplifting. It’s easy to understand why *SIX* has become such a global sensation and received so many awards, including the Tony for Best Original Score and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. The critics are right – it really does “totally rule” and it was exactly the kind of energizing experience I needed. On a personal level, this night out did wonders for my mental health. It gave me a chance to step away from day-to-day stress, get out of the house, and just be present in a joyful, electric atmosphere. Being part of that audience, clapping, laughing, and soaking in the music and performances helped lift my spirits in a way that’s hard to put into words. I walked away feeling lighter, more positive, and genuinely recharged. The fact that Vet Tix and GSB made this possible means a great deal to me. It wasn’t just about seeing a hit Broadway musical; it was about feeling seen, appreciated, and given an opportunity to enjoy something truly special. The experience reminded me how important it is to take time for myself and how healing it can be to connect with the arts and with a larger community. Thank you again, sincerely, for all that you do and for giving me the chance to see *SIX*. Your support made a meaningful difference in my life and in my mental well-being, and I’m deeply grateful.
