Dear Vet Tix and San Diego Sockers/San Diego Clippers, Thank you so much for the tickets to the November 28 match against the Strykers — what an experience! It was my first indoor soccer game and everything about the night was memorable: I munched on popcorn, Red Vines, sour patch, a hot dog, gelato, and an iced lemonade while soaking up the atmosphere. I even bought a Sockers sweatshirt and those fun horns, and really appreciated the giveaway shirts — such a thoughtful touch. The match was exciting from start to finish. Even though the team didn’t come away with the win, I had a blast and left a new, enthusiastic Sockers fan. Most of all, I’m grateful for the chance to get out and share that energy instead of spending the evening alone at home.
