The tickets to the Peraton Armed Forces Classic on November 4, 2025, were not just entry passes; they were a portal to a deeply personal and meaningful reunion; a night where my past as a proud U.S. Army Veteran and my history as a University of Louisville D1 Athlete gloriously collided. Witnessing the Cardinals and the Huskies compete was already a thrilling prospect, but knowing that this was the first year the Classic featured NCAA Women’s Basketball made the evening feel truly historic and groundbreaking. To experience that moment as both a veteran and a former athlete was overwhelmingly powerful. But what truly elevated the evening to an unforgettable experience were the seats. I mean, literally footsteps from the U of Louisville bench! That vantage point didn't just let me watch the game; it allowed me to feel the pulse of the competition, to hear the strategies being called, and to witness the sheer dedication of the athletes up close. It was an intimacy rarely afforded to fans, and for that, I am profoundly grateful. More than the incredible basketball, it was a homecoming. Seeing former teammates who I shared sweat and triumph with, and reconnecting with old friends in that esteemed atmosphere at the Naval Academy, filled my heart with a warmth that only true camaraderie can provide. Your generosity didn't just give me entertainment; it gave me back a piece of my story. Thank you so much for your unwavering commitment to service members!!!
