Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your great staffs for a most splendid evening and game. Chase Field is a fantastic stadium. We had seats in Section 331, Row 17, in Left Field overlooking the entire arena. What an incredible view! The variety of food and beverages inside the stadium is always a bonus, and you are allowed to bring your own snacks. I purchased a footlong dog. I had to. Baseball and hotdogs go together like movies and popcorn. I also got a Simply Spiked BOLD Cherry Limeade. Yum yum! Yesterday was a promo day. It was Star Wars Night. Lights flashed around the stadium, a Star Wars intro panned the screen, and the mascot and crew were dressed in costumes. The players were depicted as Star Wars characters. Fans were given a Star Wars Corbin Carroll bobblehead doll. It was also Outstanding Student Day. What a lot of fun! The man who sang the National Anthem was off the charts amazing. He performed one of the best renditions I have ever heard. During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as: the Hot Dog Derby (Relish won); DJ Skreamcutz; Look Alike Cam; Talking Stick Match the Cards; Budweiser Cheers to Heros (military and first responders); Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; RJ won); Talking Stick Helmet Shuffle; Whataburger T-Shirt Toss; State Farm Sing-Along; and D-backs 50/50 Charity Raffle, etc. The bats of both teams were hot from the get-go. The D-Back's pitching struggled at times. They threw a lot of walks, so the lead shifted back and forth. Our Guest of Honor, Corbin Carroll, hit a homer in the fifth inning, his 25th of the season. The D-Backs performed excellent defense with several super catches and double plays. The game ended with the D-Back's winning 6 to 5 off two doubles in the bottom of the 9th! Hooray! It was one of the best games I've ever seen. My wife and friends were ecstatic. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for making so many people happy. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
