Because of your kindness, I was able to take my son to see his favorite band - an experience that meant the world to both of us. As a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, I know the value of service and sacrifice. My son has faced more than his fair share - he has special needs and lost his father, my husband, a few years ago. In the midst of grief, he has found comfort and connection in music, and Metallica quickly became a powerful source of strength for him. Seeing him light up at the concert, singing along and completely immersed in the moment, was something I'll never forget.
