I cannot thank VetTix and SMI enough for the amazing weekend they provided for me and my 13-year old son. We decided to do a 13th birthday trip a few years ago with our oldest, and it was such a hit that we chose to make it a tradition. When Lucas turned 13, he had the hardest time trying to figure out where he wanted to go. I told him anywhere was good, but he couldn't settle on anything. A few years ago, I took Lucas to his first race at Talladega and he was instantly hooked into the world of racing and instantly became a NASCAR. So when I got the notification that VetTix was going to give away tickets to the All Star Race at North Wilkesboro, I instinctively knew this would be what he wanted. And I was correct because he was so excited. He wanted to walk all around the track multiple times just wanted to take it all in. The sights, the sounds, the old-school feel of North Wilkesboro. I think it helped him connect more with the history of the sport he so loves. The feeling you get walking into the venue is so unique and one that is similar to that of walking into Fenway or Wrigley. It is a portal into the yesteryear of NASCAR and truly a unique experience you can't find at most tracks. So thank you to SMI and to VetTix for the race, for the weekend, and most importantly for offering this wonderful opportunity and gift to spend meaningful one-on-one time with my now teenaged son.
