Houston Astros, thank you for allowing Veterans like myself and our families and friends to have the great opportunity to cheer on the best team in the MLB. I was especially honored to go last night. I wore my deceased father's Army t-shirt that my mother gave me upon his passing. I also put on my dog tags that I hadn't wore since I retired from the Army in 2006. My father retired from the Army the same year that I joined in 1983. His spirit was with me last night. Thank you.
