Huge thank you to Peachtree Entertainment and VetTix for helping my wife and I experience one of the most chaotic, loud, muddy, hot, hilarious, and absolutely unforgettable weekends we’ve had in years. We kicked off Thursday by arriving in what I can only describe as a Woodstock ‘69 reenactment, mud for miles, rain that never quit, and boots that are still drying out. But you know what? Worth it. Hank Williams Jr., ended the night with that timeless grit and swagger that everyone loves. Friday came in like a blast furnace. We were sweating in places we didn’t know had sweat glands, but we didn’t care and did not stop us from seeing Them Dirty Roses, Treaty Oak Revival, and Afroman (his "Crazy Rap" had the crowd howling). And then came Kid Rock... and holy hell. That man threw down the kind of show you remember forever. Loud, unapologetic, and packed with every light, fireball, and patriotic blast you could hope for. When "Ala-f***ing-bama" hit, the place absolutely exploded. These folks were fired up in a way I’ve never seen. Felt like Lollapalooza decades ago, just a lot more 'Murica!. Saturday was the sweet spot. Not too hot, a little bit of rain, but solid all around. Rehab, and Nickelback turned in performances that were honestly better than expected, especially Nickelback who brought every hit, every pyro cue, and every reason to lose our voices. We had a blast. The whole event felt safe and well-run, with a solid police and security presence. We made new friends, shared stories with fellow veterans, and for three days left it all at farm. Thank you again for making this possible. Felt like being 20 again, just with more ibuprofen and bio-freeze on standby.
