Dear Duke University Athletics-Blue Devils, This was such an awesome evening out for my girls, my spouse (a school counselor on Camp Lejeune) and our daughters. The view from the seats was beyond expectations! Thank you so much for your generosity, we are forever grateful. Unfortunately I, the service member, was unable to attend at the last minute. Our son is a high school wrestler and one of his teammates sustained some severe burns resulting in my son moving up to varsity and wrestling on Saturday. I’m sorry if this was/is against any rules but I couldn’t let my son attend his first varsity tournament alone, especially if he were to sustain any severe injuries. And I didn’t want my wife and girls not to attend the football game since they were very excited about attending. Thank you again.
