University of Missouri
Greetings University of Missouri! "GI" Jane and I want to THANK YOU sincerely for the free tickets to the Mizzou vs. Vanderbilt football game last Saturday (21 Sep 2024). You gave us AWESOME seat in the east stands next to the Vanderbilt fans---which allowed for some fun competitive bantering! We had an absolutely GREAT time at the game and were thrilled to witness a nail-biting Mizzou victory in 2OT! The weather was perfect for football, the fan support was electrifying, and the game itself was thrilling. We could not have had such a great experience without your incredible generosity. We are deeply touched by your offer to reach out to veterans. We are so proud to have served (I recently retired from the Air Force with 30 years on 1 Jul 2023) and we are infinitely grateful and honored to you for your magnanimity. Again, THANK YOU sincerely for the donated tickets! P.S. I wanted to add that I received my MA from Mizzou (through the Air Force Institute of Technology). Also, as an Air Force Reservist, I worked for Mizzou and Missouri S&T for 17 years with AFROTC Det 440 and Det 442 and my wife, Jane, has worked for Mizzou & Hospital for 35+ years and is still going. So we are both VERY proud to be part of the Mizzou family. MIZ! v/r Col Brent and "GI" Jane Unger, USAF (Ret)
