Maryland State Fair
The fair was cool we all enjoyed walking around the various different sites. Heavy heavy police presence made some of us old combat guys a bit on end from time to time since the fair already had private armed security run by a company called wolf. Just seemed like a bit of overkill for the fair. But heres the real tip if your looking for local food affairs and authentic butchered pasture raised mears to try head over to the pavillion and skip all the consessions like we messed up on. All the exhibits where cool but for us in Virginia if your planning on going do so on a full day like saturday...we only went fri night, when you can enjoy a full day cause the commute from NOVa is killer took at least 3 hours with traffic. But thank you state of Maryland and fair coordinators for your patriotic donation got to spend time with my family as those days are numbered.
