Thank you, Vet Tix, NCAA Football, Arizona State University Sun Devils team and organization, Kansas Jayhawks, and your stupendous staffs for a fun night out! It was my third time visiting Sun Devil Stadium, although I hadn't been there since 2022. It was my friends first time. It was sweating hot! I appreciated the open air venue. It was the Big 12 Home Opener! The stadium was packed. Sun Devil Stadium/Mountain America Stadium/Kush Field is a fantastic arena. There are no bad seats in the house. We had awesome seats in Section 23, Row 33, 17-20. There are lots of well-known food and beverage vendors around campus and inside the stadium, which is crested in the beautiful Tempe Butte mountains. It is absolutely gorgeous! There are many crowd-involved activities and camera searches, as well as various antics, to liven things up and encourage fan participation. There are also contests where people can win prizes. The organization publicly honors vets, students, faculty, and community members, such as the Tolleson Elementary Mariachi Band's playing while Sparky the Mascot danced; the Sun Devil Volleyball Team; Mayo Clinic Excellence Highlights; Marco Salas, alumnus; Donor/Sponsor Message Board; Member of the Game: Carlisle Companies Incorporated; Jumbo Cornhole Challenge: Mustard Won; Veteran Dani Bermutez; Row of the Game; Hall of Fame 2024 Sun Devil Athletes, etc. There are loud, colorful fireworks after the Sun Devils score touchdowns or field goals. Of course, the Star Spangled Banner was sung before the game. The ASU Marching Band was incredible before the game, during the game, and for the Half-time Show. The Sun Devils Spirit Squad was great throughout and at the end of the Third Quarter. Then, there was the ASU Fan Cheer. It is usually a festive, happy time for families. The Sun Devils struck first, followed by the Jayhawks. The game went back and forth all night. The Sun Devils scored their last touchdown with 20 seconds left in the game. When that happened, the stadium erupted with glee. Fortunately, ASU squeaked by 35-31. That was a gut-wrenching win! It was one of the best games I've ever seen. As tough as the Jayhawks played, you wouldn't have believed they only had one win this season. Again, thank you VetTix, NCAA Football, Arizona State University Sun Devils team and organization, Kansas Jayhawks, and your amazing staffs. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
