Nashville Superspeedway
We have never been to Nashville Superspeedway so we were excited to go for our first time and see Riley Green. General parking was easy getting in and out. There was a lot do and see before the race at all the booths and inflatables. We really weren't sure who to cheer for but when we went to the Veteran booth they had some signed autographs of some of the racers. They gave me 2 of them for our sons and my 10 year old decided that was who he would cheer for. It just so happened to be #26 Colton Herta. Our seats were great and blocked a lot of the sun. We didn't realize there would be 200 laps but the kids did better than expected as we cheered on our racer. We watched him go from 9th to 4th and then 2nd, some more places in between and finally crossed the finish line at 1st. My middle son was so excited that he picked the winner to cheer for and it made it such a memorable experience for him especially. The music they had as well as the DJ made it a fun time because music always makes things better. We got to hear Riley Green play and one of my daughter's favorite songs is I Wish Grandpa's Never Died. Her Grandpa died in 2015 and then she was born on his birthday a year later. She wishes she could have met him. We weren't sure he'd even play it but it was one of the last ones he did. Overall it was a great day and we are very grateful Nashville Superspeedway graciously donated tickets so our family could get out and enjoy time together. Thank you so much!
