I cannot believe the great seats I got from vettix for Elvis Costello and Daryl Hall! First of all I have to say that NHBank Pavilion is the best venue I have ever been to. Beautiful drive there, people were so friendly and helpful, well organized, spacious. Hands down the best! And then, vettix gave me the gift of seeing Elvis and Daryl front and center from the 16th row. We were so floored and grateful and felt like the luckiest people ever. The first time we saw Daryl Hall, I was in the 7th grade. I saw Elvis Costello when I was in 10th grade. Yes, they are both around 80 years old, but they were wonderful and were backed by amazing bands….and then to see Charlie Sexton play with Elvis was incredible. We sang the whole way back to Portland, Maine and wished we had such a perfect venue in Portland. Just to share how important these concerts are and just how much I treasure the opportunity to go to these shows, I’ll say this. I went to work at 4am, worked until 230, drove the 2 hours there, had a freaking blast (and a pretty decent hamburger from Volt at the venue), drove back the 2 hours, went back to work at midnight wearing the same clothes and worked until 11am. At last I went home, took a shower and slept 2 days to recuperate. I’m 55 after all. We are psyched to go see train this Sunday at NHBank….more about that after the show! Love, love, love vettix and these concerts!!!
