Live From Laurel Canyon" isn't just a band, it's a nostalgic journey through a pivotal time in American music. This tribute act took me back to my musical memories of the 1960s and 70s, where folk and rock collided to create a new sound. Music created by iconic artists such as The Byrds, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and The Mamas and the Papas, were performed with impressive accuracy. Live From Laurel Canyon goes beyond just the music. The show incorporated interesting stories about the artists and the collaborative spirit of Laurel Canyon, making the concert a well-rounded exploration of this musical era. Special thanks to the band, Balboa Theatre and especially VetTix.org who continues to provide access to those of us who love great music and artistry.
