Many thanks to the United football league where my wife put on a brave face for Mother’s Day as we took our one football crazy son and our other slightly bemused son to the DC defenders game. The small venue is really intimate and after the game the players would approach the barricade and take selfies. However my foreign born wife did miss her two favorite football traditions. The halftime show and cheerleaders. We’re not looking for a Lady Gaga halftime show any local marching band would probably be proud to perform at the stadium. Still, a great time was had by all despite the poor performance against the Panthers and the weather that constantly threatened rain Thanks again
