I cannot express how much these tickets blessed my family and me. My wife and I married in August 2005. I made her a Tim McGraw fan pretty quickly. Through multiple deployments overseas, the death of my little brother to the trauma of combat on March 14, 2014; the loss of my wife's mother 2 weeks after losing my brother; my retirement from the Navy in 2014; and the loss of my dad to cancer caused by Agent Orange (from his combat time in Viet Nam), Tim McGraw songs were the soundtrack to our time together as a family. As with many military couples, when I retired, my past combat traumas hurt our relationship enough for us to separate for 3 years. She went to her family in her home state of California from Montana where we had retired, and I headed back to my home state of Kentucky to start a new career as a public school teacher. Two years ago, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. We started a reconciliation of our relationship. She survived the cancer and its treatment, which is still ongoing. Last week, I flew to San Diego, picked up my wife, Lupe, her two Chihuahuas, and her belongings, and drove from California to Elizabethtown, KY. Last night's concert was the icing on the cake to our marital reunion. We were thrilled to hear songs like "Felt Good on My Lips", "Red Ragtop" and so many more! Thank you!
