Thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun afternoon. Chase Field is such an awesome stadium. We had fantastic seats in Section 319 overlooking home plate. The roof was closed, but the atmosphere was pleasant. The wide variety of food and beverage vendors inside the stadium is a huge plus, and the items are reasonably priced compared to many parks. One of my friends is a Tigers fan, and another had never been to a D-Back's game before, which made it extra special. I'm so grateful to Vet Tix for allowing me to share such memorable events with those close to me. The D-Backs struck first, scoring 2 runs in the first inning, and they kept adding to that, but Detroit answered the call and continued creeping back. It was a duel between the two teams, mostly about putting the ball in play. The bats were alive. Paul Sewald, #38, came in at the top of the 9th to shut down the Tigers. The D-Backs won 6-4. Yay! During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as multiple Fan Cams, Whataburger Whatafan Posts, the Hot Dog Derby (Ketchup won), Wendy's T-Shirt Giveaway, Steal Second Base, Talking Stick Resort Card Match Game, Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Williams won), aps Electric Moments, Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros (Military), and D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle, etc. What was neat is during the 7th Inning Stretch, the organist played America the Beautiful while we, fans, sang along. I had never encountered that before. After the game, kids got to run the bases. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for bringing such joy to people. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
