Thank you team SOOooo very much for your donation... It was a blast to take my son on his birthday also another fellow veteran with me! There we were on a sizzling, hot Saturday day, the sun was beating down on all the concert goers. The heat index that day was a staggering 105 degrees on that asphalt, people to the left and right of me were dropping out due to the heat. EMS and volunteers were rushing to hydrate folks all over the festival area; all while a band was blaring its rock n roll music not 50 feet away. I look at my partners and assess their looks and mannerisms to see if the heat was getting to them too. I instruct my son to buy 3 waters and 2 Powerades. I made it my goal not to let them fall victim to the heat. When the day went on the sun slowly started to set and the temp dropped... that's when we could relax and find a little patch of grass to rest our weary feet. We all smiled and thanked the good folks at VetTix and the donors for this experience. It was absolutely worth it. Thank you all! :) MSgt Jesse Eladjoe
