Thank You Vet Tix Donor. I wish I could say it was a great day, but there were showers off and on from when we arrived at 8 AM until nearly noon. The track crew spent the next 2 1/2 hours drying the track only to have a major downpour just before they were about to start the races. We were wearing rain gear and still got completely soaked. The rain continued for quite a while, and we were verry cold and knew that it would take at least another several hours to dry the track if the rain stopped. We chose to go home. I understand that they finally started racing at 5:30 PM. The day was not a total loss. There was a driver autograph session from 9:30 to 10:00 and I got a picture with my favorite driver Antron Brown. I really appreciate VET TIX and am thankful for the opportunity to attend these events. Better luck next time!
