Thank you so much to Broadway Across America for these tickets. The singers in this show were absolutely phenomenal. The dancers brought so much energy and passion. The musicians on stage were simply outstanding! A few years ago I saw Wicked on broadway. It was an incredible show, the best I've ever seen. And I never thought another play would give Wicked a run for its money, but Hadestown did just that! The set design and costumes were inspired, and the use of lights to indicate journeys or setting was just genius. I don't know that I've ever been as emotionally invested in the characters in a play before. I was rooting for the star-crossed lovers as if they were old friends of mine. This was an absolutely incredible performance from everyone on and backstage. Amazing!
