Last night I attended "Jim Brickman A Joyful Christmas" in Kansas City, Mo with 3 friends. Two of the friends are also military veterans spouses. One lost her husband last year, the others husband was recently diagnosed with cancer. I met that spouse through special olympics, we both have adult children with special needs and we are full time care givers. My third friend has recently moved back to Kansas City. A life altering event has her "starting over" in her mid 50's. While this time of year is very special, it is also hard for some. The donation of the tickets gave 4 women more than an amazing evening. Four women gathered together, met new friends, attended a soul filling event and made a great memory. Personally, I can not remember the last time I had such a fun night and felt so relaxed. Mr. Brickman, along with Ms. Cochran and Mr. Trones gave more than a performance the four of us!
