Dear Washington Ballet and Vet Tix, Thank you so much for giving my family this wonderful gift. Your performance of The Nutcracker ballet is, simply put, the best in the world. Everything about the event is magical. The Warner Theater is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. The venue staff are charming and excellent at their jobs. The stage is truly amazing; I see the set pieces as another performer on stage. Your lighting crew are phenomenal; they know exactly how to highlight each aspect of the performance. Your set pieces are incredible; I love how you update them and make subtle changes each year. The costumes are awesome, and I saw some that I think are new. The dancing eagle was such a treat! The child performers are all superstars; they stole the show whenever they were on stage. Your ballet dancers are all talented beyond belief. From the audience perspective it appears that the dancers must be suspended by wires, but they defy gravity all due to their own massive talents. The choreography of all the dancers was flawless; they are angels sent down to Earth. Finally, the music was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Each song is so iconic, and they will live forever in our memories. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your amazing performance of The Nutcracker ballet. Best regards, Charles D.
