This was the first time that I have ever been able to attend the elimination rounds of an NHRA event. From the opening ceremony and track walk to the elimination rounds, it was amazing. The feel of the Nitro burning race cars, the close competition of all classes, the opportunity to watch the Summit ET Championship being decided was amazing. It's was amazing to see how fast the Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Mod, and Pro Stock bikes could run down the track. I've been a fan of drag racing for over 30 years and this was an absolutely amazing event to attend.
