University of Washington Huskies
Thank you, University of Washington Huskies, for tickets to the Husky vs Utes football game. The game was really entertaining. Couldn't leave until the very last defensive play by the Huskies. What I enjoyed as much as the game was the pre-game and half-time entertainment. The two fly-bys from Veteran fliers and current military members was great. Seeing them on the field was an added bonus. The half-time show was something my guests and I will always remember. Luckily we were seated in the south stands!! The display in the north stands with the "Thank you Veterans" and the waving American Flag was incredible. The Husky band did a ton of recognizable formations. The Navy tribute with the submarine really tugged at my heart (having been a submariner). The Army tribute with the tank moving across the fooball field was impressive. The Husky band really spent a lot of time on choreography for this Veteran Day event. Nicely done and very moving!
