University of Notre Dame
I would like to thank VetTix and the donors, for I was able to attend a Notre Dame football game. An amazing weekend and so happy to finally experience this most historic university and the Fighting Irish traditions. Being long in the tooth I sat in the stands remembering Montana, Rocket, etc. on Westwood One radio. All the times Beano Cook predicted the Irish being National Champions, but I would be amiss to not mention Lou Holtz and Digger Phelps. I smiled all day and many times a tear came as I remembered those times with friends and family spent during holidays listening to Westwood One and playing our brand of Nerf football. I also want to say during Desert Shield/Storm my family would record on cassette tape and I would listen on my Walkman, being on the frontline the mail took 5 to 6 weeks to reach us. Those was the days, Thank you again.
