We drove the 120+ miles to the speedway, camped overnight in nearby Somerset Center, and the race was “Rain suspended”. We did not go into the grandstands as it was raining up to and past the starting time. When they DID start the race we still did not go in as anyone could tell by looking at the sky that the rain was coming again. And come it did. 73 laps in they finally red flagged the event. Thanks so much for the tickets which we did NOT end up using as we didn’t feel like sitting in the rain in the grandstands for what turned out to,be nothing. I do appreciate the tickets nonetheless. No one can know in advance what the weather will do. If you want to “suspend me for 90 days” per your policy for this, go ahead. It cost me over $200 for gas, food and camping to try to attend.
