I would like to thank the Ohio Forestry Association and VetTix for the tickets to the Paul Bunyan Show. We appreciate the support and opportunities the tickets create and the variety of activities we have been able to experience. While I received two tickets for my wife and myself, our plans changed a bit when our family decided to come down to spend the weekend for my birthday (Oct 9th) at our home and 103 acre Tree Farm about 4 miles from the Show. Our little outing blossomed into a party of nine which included our 3 young grandchildren at their first Paul Bunyan Show. The event was enjoyed by all, including the play areas for the little ones, the lumberjack competition, great lakes timber show, chipper/grinder and sawmill demos and so much more. While we have been to previous shows, this year seemed to draw even more people than normal and it was impressive seeing the staff able to adapt to the parking crunch. It was also nice to see Mother Nature cooperate and drop the rain after the event on Saturday rather than during. Unfortunately with the quite active little ones alongside, we neglected getting a photo with my wife and I (and VetTix sign) so I attached one with myself (left), son (right) and my granddaughter (front).
